I put this in my camp trailer to haul a small generator. Some of the welds have broke over time (like 2000 miles) we drive from Utah to Montana and the roads can be rough in the spring time. All in all it’s a good carrier for the price.

This cargo carrier works great for anyone looking to expand their vehicle's cargo capacity. We used it on our 2011 Cadillac SRX for a three week trip to visit family. We were bringing our dogs and knew we wouldn't have enough room for all our stuff and them. (They are both large dogs.) The cargo rack handle all of our luggage, dog supplies and miscellaneous necessities with no problem. My husband loved how easily it installed on our tow hitch, and the security of the locking mechanism. We also loved the storage bag that holds everything, and sits perfectly inside the rack. We had rain on the trip, and this bag kept everything completely dry. It zips and Velcro's closed, insuring there is no way water can creep inside. I can, without hesitation, highly recommend this cargo carrier.

We used this for our trip to the beach. I have a 2023 Explorer and this worked flawlessly! The bag held up through the rain and none of our belongings were wet. We added a lock on the zippers for security and ordered locking toe downs also. There was no rattle during the drive and it folds up easily. The size is great and holds a ton of stuff. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised after I put this together and used it on n 800 mile week long trip. It is rugged, with a waterproof bag that protects your goods riding on the strong steel platform. I would highly recommend this cargo carrier for price, ease of use and quality. This will last years

Purchased this product for extra cargo space on our family vacation that included nearly 1,600 miles of driving. It was easy to assemble with the correct size sockets, but the included wrenches were not very helpful. The bag is a very thick material that contained everything well. Fortunately we didn't drive through much rain, so I cannot comment on how weatherproof the bag is at this time. The metal part is very sturdy and did not come loose at all during our drive. The bag includes straps that connect from the bag to the frame and two ratchet straps to secure everything. Nothing shifted at all during our drive and this provided plenty of extra storage space for all our things. Very glad to have made this purchase and look forward to using it again in the future.

This product is just what I was looking for. The assembly was done by watching a video. The stabilizer bracket that attaches to the carrier and the hitch receiver provides a secure fit so there is no wobble in the carrier. The carrier came with a water proof bag with securing straps, ratchet straps and a cargo net.I was able to put all of our camping gear into the water proof bag which freed up loads of space in the car.Even when loaded I am able to open the back hatch on the SUV and it does not block the view of the rear tail lights or back up lights.

Some parts were damaged upon arrival. The damaged piece was wedged inside the big pipe piece. Some of the protective coating is broken off from being wedged in. I'm concerned this may cause rusting and make it a fail point. Also, no assembly instructions included in packaging.
