This folding cargo carrier is the BEST upgrade ever!! I now basically have an instant mini trailer with me anywhere I go. This is beyond ideal if you're in the habit of coming across amazing deals while antiquing, thrifting, or just driving around.It was very easy to put together. It took 2 people to pick it up and get it into the trailer hitch but it was easy peasy as well.I'm so impressed with how extremely heavy duty the construction of the whole product is. From the mesh and bars to the hardware. It's very well designed. It folds up or down easily and secures in either position with a pin. So far it's entirely silent, even on the highway.It does make my backup warning beeper go off (no surprise there) so I need to figure out how to turn the sound off.I highly, highly recommend this folding cargo carrier as a hugely functional upgrade for your vehicle (assuming you have or will install a trailer hitch mount)!

WOW WOW WOW! I have been looking at trailer mounted cargo trays for a couple of years now and mockins has always been a recurring recommended brand due to their Great value. After receiving this item I understand why. There are many times when assembling an item that there's a step that requires a component that isn't included. Mockins makes it easy by including every single thing you could possibly need. Assembly was easy and the booklet holds your hand through everything.Once assembled this cargo tray is a hefty and heavy duty item. All the steel feels solid and proper with the welds looking proper and painted. This tray is a great size that will allow you to carry so much more thanks to the included heavy duty and waterproof bag. You really cannot beat the amount of functionality for this price.

I'm rather disappointed.I own an older Jeep Wrangler. It's one of my favorite things, but anyone that's owned or ridden in an older Wrangler knows that storage space is lacking. I already picked up a smaller hitch basket of the Mockins brand but found I could use some more storage. When I saw this I had to try it.So, the problems. First off, the instructions for assembly aren't very good. There's little direction about certain steps, and the pictures are too dark to be easily used. Mine came with the little pins on the harness that plugs into one of the lights bent, not sure if it works. The main plug that fits into the vehicle was also bent. The instructions tell you to run the wire down the center pole after assembly, but the bolts block the wire and make it almost impossible to drop down without taping to a coat hanger. Run the wire before putting in the bolts.The metal isn't the highest quality. I bent the upper rim pretty easily, so I wouldn't rest any weight on the side rails.Now for the biggest issue: this unit is defective. It doesn't fold all of the way up. The metal on the bottom of the hitch piece strikes the main support bar and won't let it close. I've tried to force it and made a little headway, but it's having to dig metal out for progress. This is a pretty big deal as being able to fold up the basket is one of the main selling points.Overall I'm not pleased with this basket. I can't fold it up, so now it's a fixed basket unless I want to ratchet strap it to my spare tire. The metal isn't very high quality and I doubt its claims of 500 lbs. I'll be going back to my previous hitch basket, which, while also a bear to assemble now at least works.

This kit seems to have everything. The flip license plate holder is neat. All the parts are well coated with paint, and the cargo bag is thick and has ample straps for load securement. The carry bag is a plus. The product loses a star due to crooked welding on the hitch bar. I had to notch the end of the cargo basket's center tube to keep it from pinching the light cord when the basket was raised to the stowed position. I think there would have been enough room for the cord had the plate been welded square with the receiver tube, or had the tube been shorter. Additionally, I had to add one washer to each of the bolts that hold the two halves together. The lock washers are too small and they slip into the holes when used as shown in the instructions. The cargo basket's platform is frankly huge--a great way to carry extra cargo when needed. I do have reservations about the workmanship issues, especially given the cost of this product. I was well able to perform the necessary modification because I have the required tools and experience. Had I not, the product would have been useless to me, and I would have had to pay to return this heavy item. The design seems very good, but the welding on this unit was subpar. I received it through the Amazon Vine program.

Very well build structure of carrier. Heavy but definitely well balanced. All hardware included. Nothing is missing.Good clear printed instruction with detail explanation how to assemble. Yeah,... prepare to spend hour or hour and half to assemble it. It will be great it someone would assemble it for me.:))The bag....thick durable, water proof material. Holding good seal when closed.One small thing, lights to assemble and connect is little bit annoying., but like i said, instruction is really clear and.....i wish some one assemble it for me.:)))But, definitely 5 stars.
