Husband uses this on back of van when he goes hunting. Holds a lot and holds up well to all his abuse and weight he puts on it.

I took this cargo carrier from southeast Texas all the way up to Coeur d'Alene Idaho (upper Idaho), 2400 miles. It went through lots of rain, snow and good and bad roads and did fantastic! I didn't even know I had it on the back of my Kia Telluride it road so smooth with the anti-sway bar! Nothing got wet in the cargo bag, and I had mostly clothes in there. Also, on the hole making the cargo carrier closest to your car, I could still open the lift gate. The only thing about putting the cargo carrier on the closest hole is that I wasn't able to fold the carrier up because it hit my bumper on that setting. So if you'd like to fold it up you may have to put it on the second hole. I would buy this again in a heartbeat!!!!

Used this on my daughters outback for a bear hunt in Colorado. It's sturdy and handled the weight very well had no issues over the entire 2500 mile trip

We ordered this carrier, had some problems with shipping and the company did everything they could to make it right. Gold stars all around. I would buy from them any day any time.The carrier itself was easy to assemble. Eight bolts, easy directions, hard to mess up.The one addition I would make to the instructions is: after it is assembled, use an alcohol swab to wipe the area and then drying the area before applying the reflective stickers. I did add additional reflective stickers to be unmistakable at night, but this is not necessary for most.The carrier fits well in the trailer hitch receiver with very little wiggle room. It is sturdy and rides well in travel. And I love the fact I can raise it vertical when it is not loaded to be mostly flush with the back of our vehicle. Nothing bad to say... it is perfect for our needs!I like that the stinger (the part that goes into the car's trailer hitch) has three (3) different holes so you can choose how close you want the carrier to the vehicle. I like a little space so can can step between the vehicle and carrier when traveling to access things in the vehicle. I can also position the carrier so when the carrier is vertical it is right against the spare tire. Nice flexibility!!!One more comment: I added a 4 inch drop down hitch to the vehicle so the top of the carrier was lower than the bottom of our van back doors. So when the carrier is not loaded, I can open the doors over the top of the carrier. This is convenient at times when camping or traveling.What is not to like? We are very happy with this purchase!!!

We decided to spend Christmas with my in-laws in New Jersey so we decided to take a road trip, we live in Florida so you can imagine the amount of luggage’s for 4 people and 2 dogs. We purchased this product a week before, my husband put it together in couple minutes, nothing complicated at all if you have the right tools to do it. We went to Jersey 18 hours each way and our luggage’s were fully dry at all times, no problems at all. Love it 1000%

We have a roof rack and a trailer but sometimes this is just what we need. Large, sturdy, folds up super easily. The bag doesn’t really fit the rack well, so we haven’t used it, but the rack is totally worth it alone.

Awesome rack. This thing folds up out of the way with one cotter pin. The only thing we added was an anti shake stabilizer to the hitch like other reviewers recommended. Drove from Duluth to Florida with a cooler and a storage bin on the back with no issues. Has closed off rails so you can use a bike cable to lock your secure bins up to it with ease. We've also realized it is a fantastic inflatable SUP Board stand while inflating with a compressor. You can have an elevated work space while getting ready for your paddle. We've also used it as a work space/table for tailgating. We use it on our Suburban and when we're getting ready for our activities, it helps out a ton to load and unload the back. Best accessory for your vehicle!

Worked exactly how I needed it to. Travelled across multiple states with totes and luggage that wouldn't fit in car. Reflective stickers are fair, not super visible with lights, but better than nothing. Folds nicely, some slight rattle/shake when in folded position. Didn't notice excessive noise. Scrapes the ground on lower profile SUV/crossover vehicles entering higher pitch driveways/parking lots. So, beware of that, if your car/SUV doesn't have significant ground clearance, i.e. more than 6-8", you may experience ground contact at times with larger changes in street to parking lots or street to driveways. Larger suvs, i.e. Tahoe/Suburban/Expedition/Pickups, will not experience that problem. Experienced rain on interstate, and bag's weatherproof ability didn't pass that test. Recommend plastic totes/coolers, no cloth items/luggage, bag will not stay 100% dry in very wet conditions. Did well with dew and condensation from cool morning, but failed when the rain came. Overall, good product for carrying extra cooler/totes or grills for tailgating, but not recommended for harsh weather, i.e. heavy rain. Only four stars, feel like the wording on the weatherproof bag is slightly misleading. But what can you expect when you drive in rain.
