Liteweight enough, easy to use. My dad can even put it on by himself. Holds out big 2 stage snowblower with ease.

Love this carrier. The size is good that I can lift it myself and get it lined up with a little bit of strength but it is definitely something easier to install with 2 people. The threaded hinge pin would not thread all the way on even with an impact driver. Then it would be impossible to remove without a tool. I ended up drilling out the threads and using a regular 3/4" pin and now it works great. I wanted something that would hold a large generator and this does that perfectly. I bought a 4inch drop so it would sit closer to the ground when on my truck. Otherwise it would sit so high the ramp was almost straight up. Think of that when purchase but would absolutely recommend this.

So this is my second purchase of this same carrier. And wow did I beat up the first one. The first picture I posted is the old one on top of the new one. Second photo is my generator strapped to the new carrier. I have dragged that thing across several gas station entrance ramps for over 2 1/2 years. My first carrier endured a lot of abuse because I never had one before. And I have to say it has saved us many times. It took a lot of serious hard bumps and over tensioning rachet straps to get this thing to bend. It got to a point that I said okay. I'm getting another one just because it's ugly. So let's see how much thing thing can really take. 🤣 drive over train tracks fast and the bottom floor busted lose and my generator was hanging.Believe me it is scary buying something online and not knowing if you're going to have to deal with some kind of inconvenience. And return it. So if you need it just for a scooter. This carrier is perfect. If you need it for work. Which is what I use it for. Again! It's perfect. And it doesn't weigh a lot. Love this thing. Go ahead and buy it. It is tough.

I weigh 200 lb and stood on it after installing it correctly on the truck. The metal platform started bending and almost broke with only 200 lb. This does not support the way it says it does.

The product was easy to put together however the written directions are not easily understandable. There are no pictures of the assembly pieces only numbers and count of each item. This made it more difficult. I was however able to assemble the entire unit from my wheelchair. After mounting the center post i used the receiver hitch to elevate the cargo deck to complete the remainder of the assembly. It seems quite sturdy and there is no rattle during driving at all, i was completely shocked by this. It has a pin that is threaded and when it is completely tightened it seals of any play in the receiver hitch. I will post a picture at a later time.

My wife purchased an electric trike with a wide front wheel base. The frame folds over, so it is relatively compact and easily transported, however the wide wheel base was a problem, as most cargo carriers are an inch or two too narrow. I reviewed and rejected a score of carriers because of this. I thought that I'd never find the right cargo carrier until I came across this one, with published dimensions of: 54 x 6 x 35 inches. There was no posted information about specifically what dimensions they were referring to. The inside diameter dimensions are really the only ones that matter. Who cares about an inch or two, side to side or front to back, when it's mounted on the back of your Class III mount?I could find no further information about this and none of the reviewers mentioned it so I took the plunge and ordered it. When it arrived it seemed to be well made and sturdy. I was disappointed in two respects:First: The stated dimensions were outside diameter and, even then, were not correct. I measured the depth of the load platform. It was 33 inches outside diameter and 30 3/4 inside diameter. Not the stated 35 inches, either way. I'm very disappointed that they failed to list the true dimensions with particularity to the inside diameter, which is the only meaningful measurement for most folks. I was able to load the trike sideways and that fits, so I decided to keep the carrier. However. that means that I have to lift the trike onto the platform, ruling out the possibility of my wife loading it by rolling it up the ramp.Second: They installed a fixed threaded sleeve inside the hitch pin hole. They did provide a threaded pin to use with it but that provides zero anti-theft protection. I had purchased a good quality hitch pin lock for use with this. I tried driving out the threaded sleeve with a chisel and a hammer and it wouldn't budge. I might disassemble the hitch arm and try to drill it clear with my drill press but that's way too much work. It actually seems to be pretty good quality, so I'm baffled why they made this choice. Why not allow the consumer the ability to lock the carrier onto the hitch so that it, and its cargo, would not be stolen?Assembly was not quite the way that the English as a second language Chinese author described it in the instructions but it was easy enough for me to figure it out, after I had incorrectly assembled it using the directions.

This is one of the largest hitch carries I could find on Amazon. The bifold ramp is compact and gives a long approach for easy loading of heavy wheeled objects. It is light enough to be moved around & installed solo. Getting the receiver bolt pin to align & screw in takes a minute. The rear tire on a Jeep prevents the carrier from being able to stow in the vertical position. Mine arrived damaged with small dents, scratches and rear surround bent inward about 1/2" causing the ramp to drag/scratch into it when folding up. All said I would still recommend this unit and would buy again if needed.
