I’m not sure why, but these plant protectors have become nearly impossible to find the last few years. We get late frosts here and traditionally don’t plant until after Mothers Day. These leads to a shortened season with reduced harvest without additional measures like these protectors. I’ve seen a lot about red plastic being used with tomatoes and peppers to increase plant growth and have never been able to find them until now. I’m excited to see the results for myself in 6 weeks or so.

We are in the dead of winter right now but planning for our summer garden. Because of where we live, it is almost impossible to really plant much before Memorial Day due to late spring snowstorms. I have always wanted to try wall of waters to get a few tomatoes in the ground early and these 3 wall of waters will allow me to do so. I am impressed with the quality of the plastic and how the water channels are around it. I also really like the height and what the width will be once they are filled with water. It appears will be able to add a pretty decent size tomato start in it and get my season going earlier which is great! Around here, we don’t normally get any ripe tomatoes before late July, so I am seeing this as a game changer in my garden! Based on the quality of them, I definitely recommend getting a set for your garden.

These are made of thick plastic and they are much taller than I expected. They look well made. Similar in price to the brand name, maybe a couple bucks less for the set of three. I will update this review as I get some use out of these in the spring.

Ordered for jump starting my veggie garden and was very disappointed in this product. I thought I was getting funnel shaped water plant protectors; what I got were circular instead which doesn't do a thing to protect my plants from a heavy frost. To create the funnel shape as shown in the listing, it was necessary to remove half of the water which lessens the ability to protect from a freeze.Misleading pictures isn't the only reason I am knocking two stars off these review. I was disappointed that the plant protectors arrived loose in a bag without any sort of instructions for setting up etc. and also discovered several of the cells failed to hold water when tested. While I think this product will do a great job in encourage rapid growth in summer plants that need warm soil (such as squashes, peppers, etc), they will not do a good job at freeze protection which is the reason I wanted these.

I received the plant coats very fast. They are exactly as described and shown. They feel and look like they’ll protect the plants well with a nice thick plastic. I think it’s a pretty good price for the set of 3 good size coats for plants. This is the first time using them so I have no experience so hopefully they will get used very soon and I can update with any new info. It’s such a neat idea and the quality seems good.

I am not sure just how practical these "Wall of Water Plant Protectors" really are. Filling them up with water is not an easy task. There are much easier ways to protect plants from freezing. Also, roughly $6 each is too much, but the individual must decide that.

Some tips for use. It works well to set these around a 5 gallon bucket to give support while you use a hose to fill each pocket with water about 2/3 full. If moving, it will take 2 people to lift and set where you want, Also, these should be put out a couple weeks ahead of planting so they have time to begin warming the soil up if you are trying to get a head start on the weather. The plastic itself seems thick like described and should hold up well.
