These work great for desert winters, but not for places that snow and freeze. It says on the package that it works for 32 degrees and higher. The coldest it got here was 30 degrees two or three times and that was the nighttime low. Our winters are 99% of the time above freezing and we get snow maybe once every decade or two. So, if you live somewhere like I do, I think this will work great for you. If you live somewhere that has snow, ice, and is below freezing, I would not recommend this product.

Great price for this. It worked great for the frost. You can cover a lot of plants. It's light weight but thick enough to protect the plants. I will be repurchasing more.

I used this for a strip of succulents (and a small palm tree) about 9' x 8.' My plants are against a fence so it was a little hard getting them covered on the backside, but the 20' width allowed me to fully cover even the largest succulent shrub. It is light, but I was able to tuck the cover around all the pots so the freeze wouldn't get in from the bottom. The squirrels are also big fans, as I am right next to an olive tree; they try to drag it up the tree for their own climate control, lol I managed to win that fight, though. I had already left the plants out in a freeze, so they weren't doing well, but they are starting to get better. You can also find similar items with 30' width, which is even better. It allows you to double up, providing even more coverage for your plants.

I ordered this to help protect my plants from the cold, but unfortunately in Arizona we had a very warm winter this year 2024/2025 and I didn’t get a chance to try it out July the time it came in, but I will update this as soon as I can use it!

Where I live, we seldom get freezing weather, but as a result, it's common to have plants that are not at all tolerant of freezing weather. On those occasions when the temperature does drop below 32°F (0°C) it's necessary to cover your plants to prevent them from freezing.Previously, I'd just used old bedsheets to do the job, and they do work. But it wasn't the most beautiful solution to my plant protection needs, with a garish display of all the previous bad choices I'd made in selecting bedding on display for all to see. That's where this cover comes in. It's designed to do exactly what you need for protecting your plants, and comes in a generous 10' x 20' size that should provide enough material to cover a lot of plants and shrubs. It's the lighter version of a plant cover, being almost gauzy. That's a really nice feature since it also means that light will penetrate it, which is more important when the covers may be left on for a long time, preventing killing your plants by cutting them off from all sunlight.
