Manual: 1, Always wear ear, eye, face protection and protective safety gloves. 2, Generally, for rough work, move the burrs across the workpiece counter-rotationally. 3, Pass the tool over the workpiece in the direction of rotation to achieve fine finishes. 4, Min Clamping depth is 2/3 of the shank, if you have to clamp less, pls low speed. 5, If rough running, strong vibrations and increased flying sparks, pls use a new one. 6, Do not apply too much pressure, Let the speed do the work. Smaller burrs require faster speeds. 7, Soft materials, such as aluminum, use a grinding oil to reduce debris clogging. Grind glass, use water as lubricant. 8, Elongate holes, grip tool firmly with two hands and use a swinging motion, which prevents chatter, result in a safer cut. 9, Avoid impact loads, otherwise parts teeth will break off, shank will bend. Do not sink the burr for more than 1/3 of its periphery. 10, Recommendation for drives: shank 1/8" (75 to 300W), shank 1/4" (from 300W), for coarse cuts, 500W+ advantageous.

OK for small jobs, lasted to get the small job I had to do, and did not get dull like I thought it would for the price. Seems to be lots of life left in the burr I did use for another job someday.

Have been doing minor fabrication work with metal for years and these burrs are fantastic. Great for removing metal and enlarging holes or anything that requires quick removal of metal. I am using mine with an air powered die grinder. They do not seem to plug or wear easily. Have not tried with aluminum.

This is a decent burr set. I did not realize that 1/4" was too big for my tool but my brother's die grinder uses a 1/4" shank so I borrowed his. I found that it worked so well that I am now researching die grinders because I want one!

I had to grind out a bad weld on an inside corner on a piece I was fixing. This worked OK on that. It took longer to get the die grinder set up than it did to make the grind. Took maybe a minute to grind it out. After grinding I could see damage to the burr under the microscope. So, while it works, I don't expect to get a lot of life out of it if I use it for grinding steel. Wood, plastic, softer metals are all probably fine.

Used in an air powered die grinder to lengthen some holes in 1/8" steel. Works great and stays sharp. Just keep it from chattering.

These are literally half the price of what I have paid at a local hardware store like Harbor Freight and these appear to be of equal quality. I have been using them extensively to clean up my welds and as anyone who does metal fabrication knows, mig wire weld joints are a good deal harder than the mild steel many of us work with. These bits hold up well to grind and contour this very hard material.
