I've installed many generator inlet boxes. This one was not any lesser of quality than the rest. I'm starting to believe most of these are made at the same facility and have identical hardware. Only exception is the Reliance brand, but those cost twice as much. This works well for the budget-minded. Do not skip on the interlock kit, it can save lives and electronics from frying. I recommend having a professional install this.

The "Suplevel 50 Amp Generator Power Inlet Box" is priced similar to several identical models, but this brand has excellent features that make install way easier. I actually switched out my already installed inlet box with this one because I was so mad at the lack of engineering of the other one. This one comes pre-drilled and has code-spec covers for each hole. It is deeper, so it is way easier to close with the heavy, solid copper wire required to hook up to this port. The hook ups are color coded. I use this with my Duromax XP12000EH 12000 Watt generator, and it works as it should. There are several codes you are required to follow to hook this up, and the electrical current and voltage involved is way higher than your standard plug (death). Hire an electrician if you are not trained to install. I highly recommend this brand due to the extra features.

Well made inlet box that is sturdy and heavy duty...cutouts are easy to use and hook up went without a glitch.This is a necessity for hooking up your generator to home power...and this box seems to be equal to or better quality than comparable boxes in this price range.Weather-proof and should last a long time.This is a lot safer option than plugging your generator into the dryer outlet...be safe.It's good to have power when the lines are down...after Helene, it'll be good to have another option for powering our home.

I have a generator that has output and can power my house. This box is a quality unit and very sturdy! It was easy to mount to the wall. I used the hole in the back to run the wire. It looks professional once fully installed. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but with winter weather on the way, I plan on trying it out soon just to be sure everything works, but it was an easy install and looks great. Cant complain about it any. I would recommend!

I have not installed this yet as I have not bought the hot tub yet, but this box is rated for the spa I plan to buy. It looks and feels as though it is made of quality materials. I have some basic electrical knowledge and experience and this visibly appears to be a standard box worthy of outdoor use.

This connector is really well made. Waterproof, lots of room on the inside to make connection. The supplied ground is heavy gauge. The connection to the outlet are strong and hold the cable tight. Lots of mounting for conduit
