Got this and I’m really impressed with its design and functionality. The build quality feels solid, and the pre-drilled holes made installation a breeze. It’s weatherproof, which is a big plus for outdoor use, and the indicator light is a nice touch, giving me peace of mind that everything is working as it should. With its 125/250V capacity and 12,500W rating, it’s perfect for emergency power use. Being ETL listed adds an extra layer of confidence in its safety and reliability. This will definitely be great for hurricane season here in Florida when we lose power. Highly recommend it!

People will complain that there isn't a lot of room inside for wiring, but that is typical of any generator inlet, you have to wrestle the wiring in. This inlet box is high quality, made of very thick metal that isn't likely to deform or bend. The light on the outside is a great touch. Everything seems to be solid, I can't imagine a complaint I would have about it.

Using this inlet box as a generator inlet for my main breaker panel. The box is well made, constructed of heavy-gauge steel and the paint job is good too. The knockout covers are gasketed which is a nice touch. The lamp lights up when it’s energized so you know when it’s powered. Tested everything once install was done and it performed flawlessly. I like the green led indicator once it sees power from my generator. We are now ready for winter, power outages won’t be an issue any longer!! Highly recommend.

Picked this up to add a generator inlet box to my electrical panel after having a pretty long power outage this winter. Initial impressions, this is a VERY high quality inlet box.The box itself is thicker gauge steel than the GE electrical panel its connecting into which was surprising, especially compared to ones I've seen in hardware stores from companies like Reliance which feel sorta cheap. Along the lines of quality, everything is gasketed and all the outlet ports come with high quality gasketed plugs, including a spare plug.The socket itself also feel very solid and easily accepted 4 gauge wire, including enough depth in the box to be able to route the wire out any of the ports easily. Also the grounds are already hooked up with nice quality copper (yes actual copper, not copper clad aluminum) 6 gauge wire and all the connections were actually tight. My favorite part though, unlike others (such as the aforementioned reliance box) this actually accepts real NEMA SS2-50P connectors with threaded covers. This not only ensures that a connected cable stays put, but also helps keep the weather out which is a big plus.All in all, this is a very good and solidly built generator inlet box at half the cost of the name brands. I would have no issue recommending this to anyone looking to add or replace an inlet box to their panel.

Solid box, but the limited space inside the box and the placement of the knockouts makes it hard to get everything closed up. Also the lugs for the plug do not hold the wire very well.

This box looks and feels solid in construction and the material (metal). I love the pre-drilled but re-sealable holes as I expect to make adjustments to my connections overtime. The ground wire can be connected to a short ground bus, which has existing wiring to the chassis. The cap over the plug is sturdy, well sealed, and weighty so I don't expect any water sipping through in a rainstorm. The green light is nice also.The box is thick, but still can be tight for thick wires.
