Your cart is empty.The Reliance Controls PBN30 30-Amp NEMA 3R Power Inlet Box is a watertight electrical inlet box designed to be located outdoors where the generator is running in order to prevent dangerous carbon monoxide fumes from entering your house or other cherished space. This inlet box should be safely hardwired through an outside wall directly to the transfer switch or panel, eliminating the need for cords running through windows or doors. It was also designed to be wired directly to the transfer switch or panel by using one of the four included combination 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts (one on each side, bottom and back). The exclusive, patented make provides generous wiring space and facilitates rough-in. The face of the box is removable for easy placement and wiring and, finally, it was constructed of steel with rugged, anti-corrosive, powder-coated paint and has a spring-loaded inlet cap to prevent moisture front entering the front-mounted connector inlet when not in use. Will withstand sideways rain with no problem due to the recessed twist lock connection on the bottom of the box. I purchased 2 and I'm happy with the purchase. I will have to paint one of them to protect it from the sun.

Really like this, was simple no fuss install, cover seems engineered to keep water out, i feel better with a 30 amp generator that it's an in use box. Installed it this summer and behold.....used it for 5 days during hurricane milton and during helene after we were flooded with 3-4 feet of water. One thing, after installing and It's nothing *major mind you* but i was rather surprised how quickly the top yellowed a bit in direct florida sun which admit-tingly is an extreme use case for any plastic here, metal typically is my go to here but for the generator inlet i wanted no conductive. All plastic eventually suffers a fading discoloration fate here this just sorta seemed quick but don't let that dissuade you, just room for improvement maybe different plastic or uv protection in the plastics improvements.

Worked out very well for my backup generator setup, the design is naturally water-shedding, it will never rust out. I prefer the way the plug faces downward.
