This aerator was easy to put together and feels sturdy. It is quite tall fully put together and was difficult for me to use since I am shorter (5'0") I also had a hard time getting enough weight into the tool to press it into the ground even when the dirt was moist. It would have been better if there was more free space in the center of the tool to step on. I was not a fan of the design of the aerator part there isn't really anywhere for the dirt clumps to go so you constantly have to clean it out with the provided tool. This might be good for very small spaces, but the amount of time and effort it would take to do a large space of yard would not be worth it in my opinion.

Such a really good useful tool, made from good heavy duty metal, comes separated, but everything for install included inside it’s packaging 🤓 super easy to assemble, full size tool, worth the price, the actual spikes teeth are thick and does a wonderful job of digging into the soil. 🥳 Really easy to and fun to use, handle is comfortable, and not heavy, which makes it even easier to mange and handle. A definite recommendation for every DIY gardening etc. get it…won’t regret it 🥰🔥

Wobbly, very cheap soldered stem to the base of the prongs it didn’t last very long I’ve issued a return product malfunction to Amazon. Looked great upon putting it together but broke after 2 uses…. Also the prongs aren’t very stable and come unscrewed quickly. If the design was a single or just 2 piece altogether with a stronger stem, it wound have been fine.

This unit is not strong enough to be used as a corer on lawns. You need to use the handle to help with penetration and the joint at the base isn’t strong enough. Unit broke after ~3 hours of use.

Great aerator for my backyard,The side tubes make real holes in the soil, that aerate it properly. Definitely worth it!

If you are looking for a small manual aerator, this one is pretty reasonable. It’s not going to replace one of power driven monsters from the rental store for large areas but it’s a decent option for smaller spaces and areas that can’t be hit with a power unit. This one has plug cutters on the sides and spikes in the center that you attach if you want and as many as you want. This is obviously body weight driven so if you have heavily compacted clay soil it’s going to be a tough job (soak the area a day or two in advance to help loosen the clay). I won’t be able to put it to a real test until spring but it’s solid. The business end is heavy steel. The handle is lighter but adequate. It arrives in sections so it will fit in a smallish box so some assembly is required. You don’t need to attach all of the handle sections which will allow you to make a more comfortable “pull up” arm position out of the soil depending on your height and preference. Foam handle pads are a nice touch; I’m curious how well they will hold up ❓

I was looking for an easy way to aerate my lawn during the upcoming spring and this tool checks all the boxes. I like the size of it. It can cover a good area with each press which really speeds up the process .The 2 in 1 design with both core tines and spikes makes aeration much faster and more efficientThe build quality is excellent. It is made from carbon steel with a powder coating, The ergonomic handle is a definite plus, making it easy to use, and the rubber grips provide a secure hold. The spikes are sharp, it will be easy to penetrate the soil, especially when the area is pre-soaked .Assembly does require a wrench, and it is straightforward, very easy. I also appreciate that it comes with a hand tool for clearing out the cores after use.Overall, I think this aerator is a fantastic tool for anyone serious about lawn maintenance
