I bought this for myself because I was sick and tired of waiting around for my husband to take care of things. Plus I have a huge firepit and like to burn things. I am a 50-something short and tubby woman with a devilish need to cause chaos. I adore my little green friend. I chop up old furniture, pallets, fallen branches - if you are careful you can cut through quite large branches but you'll want to spin them around and make multiple cuts. The zoom-zoom noise is very satisfying as well. I'd recommend this for grandmothers and toddlers (LOL - Just a joke!) It came with a sturdy case and some other handy sides. I bought it on sale and feel that it's a great value too. 5 stars.

The unit was powerful, it cut good and I loved it but it quit working 4 months after I bought it. I tried contacting the seller, with no luck and it is one year later and I still have not heard from them. Don't take the chance.

I don't normally do reviews because it takes some time to find if the product is better than just good. This sucker rocks! The bad, which is really more of a need to know. You can not just lay the chainsaw blade on the wood and pull the trigger, it will stall and not go. You need to hold it just above your cut, start the saw and BAM cut right through anything! OK, that's the bad, that's IT. Now the good, everything else! Brushless, two batteries, an oiler bottle, charger, screwdriver to adjust the blade tension, gloves, not leather but still better than nothing, safety glasses, and it's all in a should plastic carrying case! I've been cutting to my hearts desire and I still have for bars on the battery level. It may go to zero all of a sudden but I expect not. My Ryobi long reach chain saw ran out of battery so I plugged it in to charge and used this saw for two hours while the Ryobi charged, and still full battery, four bars. Get one, you will not be disappointed. I'm going to go out tomorrow and try to cut through a 14" pine stump to see what happens.

I only review products I have used to see how they work and how they stand up over time.Chainsaw is very easy to use, and has a straight forward chain adjustment. I keep it oiled up, and it works great.The batteries are still working great, and they provide a replacement chain along with oil container, nice case, etc.I HIGHLY recommend this product and vendor!!!!

I just recently learned about this tool, and what a game changer it turned out to be. I have a good sized yard with many plants needing trimming. Previously I had to choose between manual loppers or a sawzall to remove branches, or cut them down to size. I saw the mini-chainsaw used on a YT video, and found this tool.Pros: It is easy to handle, lightweight, and has sufficient battery power to get the job done. Used properly it provides quick and even cuts, and the top safety cover is sufficient to provide some protection against unintended cuts/injuries. I like that it came in a case, with tools to help make cutting easy. The price is right as well.Opportunities for improvement: The saw chain is fairly easy to adjust, but the screw driver provided is short so you end up battling against the bar trying to tighten the chain up. I used a different screwdriver with a longer shaft, which makes tightening the chain much easier.The safety switch is ambidextrous, but could use redesign to put it somewhere easier to depress with your thumb while using the pointer finger to start cutting. Because it is in an unusual position relative to both thumb and finger, it forces users to grip it in a way that can make it easier to lose firm control while in use.An automatic chain oiler would be be a great addition, but you can manage doing manual oiling with the provided bottle before, occasionally during, and after each use.Overall: If you're looking for a budget tool that will help you trim small-to-medium tree limbs quickly, I recommend this tool. Remember to keep it oiled, use within recommendations without forcing it to cut, and let the tool do the work, and I think you'll find it speeds up trimming tasks significantly.

Even with the battery in it , it is extremely lightweight. Not as loud as a gas one. My neighbor wants one now. Works great, Battery last a long time and getting 2 batteries with it is a plus . It’s very sturdy, which I am pleased about. Extremely easy to use. Cuts very well .

I had to buy my husband a father's day gift and that has become a daunting task because he has everything! A couple of years ago I had bought him a 16" Stihl chainsaw and he was over the moon about it! However, there are always those situations when working around the yard where a larger chainsaw is just too big for the tasks at hand. So when I saw this I thought it would be perfect because it's smaller and operated with one hand. Admittedly it not being a name brand had me a bit skeptical,especially since there weren't many reviews, but I couldn't find any reason not to give it as chance given how low the sale price was plus the extra 25% off coupon.Let me just say not only was he completely surprised, but he was super excited about it! He finally got a chance to use it today and he said it works so amazingly well that he felt it did even better than his 16" Stihl!! This thing is a beast!! It sliced through an 8" tree quickly and effortlessly! He said he is insanely impressed and absolutely loves it!! Plus it comes with the extra chain and extra battery pack plus a few other things. And the batteries come with a full charge do he can be up and cutting right out of the box! This is an amazing deal!!If you're looking for a gift for a man (or woman) who has everything I wouldn't hesitate at all to get this for him. Who doesn't love power tools that make life easier and this one definitely does that!
