I like everything about this enclosure, except that it often loses connection when attached to my Mac mini. Used for Time Machine backups, the enclosure disconnects on its own without any action on my part. If it lost connection rarely, I'd be okay with it, but it happens every time I use it.The price is reasonable but given the unreliable connection, this wasn't a good buy. I'll go with a different brand next time.

Works just fine. I popped a 2.5" SATA drive from an old non-functioning Dell laptop, slipped it into the enclosure, and now I have a spare external drive. Several have indicated that the case is difficult to open. The trick is to open it using your flat palm and pushing back on it. Opens easily that way for me. My only small complaint is heat dissipation. No grill or openings to release heat, but that may not be a factor if you're just using it for quick storage transfers.

This was perfect. It was exactly as described and works really well for my hard drive I took out of my laptop that fell and screen & keyboard busted but the HD was still salvageable!

特に問題無く使用しています。今の所４台使用。USBケーブルだけでも600円ほどするので、そう思うと非常に安い。SSD HDD ともに問題なく使用しています。

I've used these for a variety of purposes from XBox One X expansion to Mac and Windows backup disks for my SSDs. The best part about it's clear, so you don't have to label or guess which drive you mounted in what. The blue lights may be annoying to some, but I kind of like them. Great deal for the money and standard connectors.
