This enclosure is not 'whisper quiet', far from it. I have several macbooks, macs and PC's. This thing is louder than any of those. For me, this is a dealbreaker regardless of how the rest of the product measure up. YMMV. Also, the finish is just meh. It's not terrible, but a simple aluminum product that costs more than $200, I would expect something much more refined.

Case is well made and temps stay within range. I’ve tested this with several drives and the temps stay within 45-52 degrees Celsius. Far below the max 70 degrees limit.

Very fast using WD 850x or Samsung 990 pro drive. The fan is silent and only gets warm. The issue I have with this enclosure which has been reported with other brands of TB5 enclosures is they get ejected when connected to TB5 hubs or docks momentarily then reconnect after about 10s. I believe it is related to the Apple OS and how it interfaces with TB5 drives. Very annoying. I do not believe it is the fault of the drive as no issue when connected directly to the Mac.6-25 update: other tb5 enclosures like the Acasis stay connected to tb5 hub so must be a Trebleet issue. I will remove another star

Relatively small (although Acasis is smaller). Loved the PD capability as I'm using 8TB NVME blades. The issue I have run into so far are (a) if you connect the unit to a computer via thunderbolt and usb-c it does not show up (you may need to use power only USB-C cables I suspect, but good luck finding one in your bin and the unit did not come with one), (b) I'm still working to figure out how to plug what to ensure things work. Keeping my fingers crossed, more to come

Item worked for about 20 days and then became defective. Customer service was a pain to deal with and requested I pay to send it back to China. Had to ask Amazon to intervene. Would not buy this device or from this company again...I guess TB5 enclosures are still a ways away....

Works as advertised. Blazing fast and no fan noise. Using a Mac mini M4 Pro. Been running 3 weeks now with no disconnects (unlike other TB5 units I have tried), 100% stable. Very happy with this product.
