I do not use this a storage device. I use it to image NVME drives or to copy data to (or from) a drive that is then used elsewhere. For that purpose it works very well, is easy to use, and is a good value. When not being used it is small and compact enough to store out of the way.

Das Produkt wurde rasch geliefert und funktioniert wie angegeben. Die Anbringung der Kühlung durch Ankleben ist nicht ideal, wenn man die SSD nicht dauerhaft im Adapter belassen möchte.

Its a nice design, pretty small and the cause feels sturdy. I used it in conjunction with Samsung evo980 when upgrading the older nvme drive in my laptop. It worked great with Samsung Magic, once I did the transfer and made the update windows loaded fine.It does get kinda hot but thats probably a good thing, it means the heat transfer from the chip to the case is working. The only downside is that the usb-c plug to the case doesn't hold it as well as the end that goes into my laptop does. I accidentally bumped it during the data transfer and it disconnected. I had to restart the drive migration. But besides that it worked well

It is simple to install the SSD then it operates just like a USB drive. Excellent product, good delivery, and good price. I had this old SSD from a Dell computer damaged in a move. I transfered the SSD to the enclosure and now it is usable.

Da possessore della versione precedente che non supportava i dischi SATA M.2 sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto, lo consiglio.

EditMy media PC with full 3.2 USB ports locks up with the SSK, AND several other low dollar NVMe 10Gbit enclosures. I was blindsided with these adapters thinking China had a handle on hardware compatibility. My Mini S12 with intel cpu NOT compatible with these 3.2 enclosures but fine with any other SSD external drives. After several swaps, the issues surfaced. I apologize for this half baked review. As the 980 Pro runs hot , I still use usb fan to cool the SSK case, just like your motherboard C drive. I have two game PCs that work fine.I'll keep my SSK as a spare, loaner; I'm moving on to the ones that shut flat or stand up with built in fan that does NOT bunch or roll up your TIM pad needed to cool a closed case.If your case and choice of NVMe fails to quick format or disconnects during file transfer and fails to complete CrystalDiskMark, your chipset not compatible. Are you lucky punk?Original post;Does not work with Samsung 2T 980 Pro. What a waste of time! Just found an early review of same issue with the 980 Pro 2t. This NVNE is very hot running, will need a fan cooled case! Will not even format without locking up my CPU. This does work with my older Non Pro 980 500 Meg, no issues. My 980 2T Pro works fine on my older JMS 583 based open frame USB dongle.

I recently purchased the SSK Aluminum M.2 to USB NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Reader from Amazon for $18.99, and I must say that I am quite impressed with the product. The enclosure works beautifully, just as advertised. However, some people complain about the top speed of the device not reaching full potential, but it's important to keep in mind that it states the top speed is 10gb/s, and the drive needs other efficient hardware to reach full potential.(I just noticed in my pic the particular PC I am using has a USB-C that I am not plugged in to which would speed this drive up, it is nice to have it be able to plug in both types)While some people have complained about the tiny thumb screw, I believe it's understandable given the size of the drive and enclosure itself. The product is priced reasonably at $16-20, so I don't think people should be whining about it. The USB-A and C cables included with the product worked just fine for me, although they are a bit short.I purchased this product to expand an additional SSD hard drive in my computer that I installed games on, and it was great. I was able to copy my existing SSD drive onto a new expanded size Drive and then place what was in the enclosure in my computer. I took out the SSD that wasn't my computer and now I have a massively sized external hard drive to play around with. It was definitely worth the money. One thing to note is that unlike a thumb drive, files that are deleted do not permanently disappear. They are put in a trash can, and you can restore or undelete the file by pressing Ctrl Z.Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase of the SSK Aluminum M.2 to USB NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Reader. It works great, is slim and easy to use, and has a solid drive holder that is not going to slip or come loose. The holding screw is a bit tricky to install, but once it's done, it's great. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a slim M2 enclosure for their backup or just a huge USB thumb nail type drive with tons of storage.Make sure to use the "Safely remove hardware" function to unplug this, or turn the PC off before unplugging to prevent corrupting the drive.

sleek design and good heat dissipation but man does it get hot because of that. NVME drives produce a lot more heat than you think. still a very nice design and I'm very happy with everything besides the overly bright blue activity light that feels like a small flashlight
