I ordered this fireplace insert to replace my old insert in my freestanding fireplace which is 14 yrs old. I was concerned that it may not fit correctly but it fit perfectly!!! I love the flame in this insert which looks so realistic and we are very pleased with the amount of heat it puts out!! It heats our bedroom very quickly and makes the room feel toasty warm!! Highly recommend this insert!

Just unbox and insert into pre-measured area, plug in power on and you're done!!We recently purchased the wrong farmhouse TV stand the one without the fireplace..Instead of paying $60-200 to return and replace it we got this to place into it.So far it's been a great decision!It looks amazing and warms up our living room quite nicely.I'll update if anything arises.So far the simplicity is the pro along with the warmth and ambiance and the only con I could think of is that the remote didn't come with any batteries.. but it takes 2xAAA not a word coin one like car key remotes another pro?

Fits in opening better then the original one. Love the fact that it has a temperature control and an automatic shut off. So easy to install.

Flame has a nice quality look. The unit fit perfectly into my old TV, fireplace cabinet.Very pleased with the look and quality of the unit. Heater works well.
