Was able to install this myself. Not easy to do so but doable. I did a wall mount and will build around to dress it up. Heats well and looks great. There is a reflect surface behind the pseudo flames and embers which creates a 3D effect making flame appear to come up through the embers. Very pleased

We bought this fireplace insert for a DIY I wanted to do. Initially it was great! Simple install, the app for it was exactly what we wanted, and we loved the look of it. BUT then after about 6 weeks of using it, it started making a tapping noise when we would turn it on. The tapping picks up speed when you turn the flames to move faster. It's really disappointing and now can't turn it on bc it drives us nuts.I would love to give it more starts but the fact it lasted 6 weeks before something went wrong and now has the loud tapping... I would recommend you find another fireplace insert!

I’ll start by saying thank you to the company/seller! I order this item and when it came to my house the box looked like it was opened. When I got all the items out it was missing everything but the “firebox”. No stand, remote, crystals, logs, or even instructions.That evening, I contacted the seller and they responded within 3 hours. I sent a couple of photos per their request and they had a new one shipped out to me by the next day.This one came with everything and works as advertised! The customer service was A1, the app works better than the remote, I will have to figure out how to connect it to my Alexa, but all in all they made what would be a frustrating situation into a great one!

Received in January, installed in February and July not functioning correctly. Installed in RV and the flame effects were wonderful until recently turned it on and most colors have a red dominant color in the center of display. This has hardly ever been used and haven't used heat. With all being said, Amazon gave me a number for the seller, never answers or returns call for the 1 year warranty. If the product would kept working correctly or the seller made it right, the review would have probably have been 5 stars. Amazon only offered the phone number.Update: Seller reached out to me through Amazon. The confusion was due to Amazon message to seller redirecting me to speak to a representative that provided a wrong phone. Matter resolved quickly.

this is a wonderful option for homes that need a heating element and do not want the plug in with no timer . This the third one I own I put this in attached lean to greenhouse. with a timer it is perfect and safe. not near any items that could or may catch fire. on a brick wall. no tripping over wires....... always looks nice and compatible with decor.

I purchased 2 fireplaces and initially had them mounted. I needed to take one down and the legs had gotten thrown out. I contacted the vendor and they sent me new legs! They are super responsive.Despite other reviews, this fireplace does work as a heater. I turn on each morning to warm the basement. I don’t use the temperature setting, just letting the heater run until the room is warm enough. It does heat a 22’x15’ room well, I have no issues.

I like the fireplace. It's mot quiet though. It has this annoying sound when it's on almost like a irritating buzz. Other than that the heat works pretty good and the light show from the flames is nice to look at when all the lights are off in the room.
