After several cleaning sessions with this Capowill 20V 6.0Ah replacement battery, the difference in runtime is clear—significantly longer than the original battery that came with the Hoover vacuum. It snaps in securely and charges without issue using the standard Hoover charger. On a full charge, it easily powers through multiple rooms without needing a break, which is a major plus for those with larger spaces or pets. The one minor drawback is that it's slightly bulkier and heavier than the original, which could be noticeable if you're using a handheld unit for extended periods. Still, the performance trade-off is worth it for the extended runtime and strong, consistent power. For anyone dealing with a failing OEM battery, this is a dependable and cost-effective upgrade.

This 20V 6Ah battery for Hoover Replacement arrived partially charged at 18.5V. The charger made for this battery has an output of 20V 2A which is the same as my Porter Cable 20V battery charger. If you open the battery a B+ is next to a large liner area of solder and on the opposite corner the B- is similar. I cut the wire to Porter Cable charger and secured the positive to B+ and the negative to B- until it got to 22V. I did the same procedure to another battery identical to this one. Connecting the battery in series (+ of one to the - of the other) gave me 44.2V. That is a massive 265 watt-hours of energy. This is to use as a backup system attached to step down 95% efficient 12V system. For the functionality, fit, and durability these are outstanding. These batteries are an excellent value for the money and are light weight enough to easily use anywhere. I am thrilled with these batteries. The batteries fit inside a small wood box with a 12V step down attached outside on another board. This is easily stored in a drawer.

I believe the actual capacity is lower than stated.I immediately noticed the battery seems too light to be 6 Amps.I disassembled the battery to examine the build quality and cells, and to confirm capacity. There are 10 cells in here, 2 rows of 5.They are 18650 lithium cells, labeled 3.7 V, 20 (presumably 2.0Ah), and INR18650P.A search for INR18650P indicates that they're 2.0Ah cells. For me, based on personal experience, I would say these are 2.0 Ah cells, x 2 rows, equals 4.0 Ah total capacity. The voltage is 3.7 volts per cell, or 18.5 nominal voltage and 21 peak voltage. The build quality probably isn't quite up to par with OEM quality, such as lacking insulation. But I don't have any major grievances. It fits the vacuum just fine, and I still think it's a good deal.
