I'm afraid this wasn't my best purchase. It lasted for a few weeks and then the vacuum began constant cycles of revving up and down to the point it is useless. Some people on here seem to have had better luck but it's not playing nice with our Dyson. Just an honest experience, hope it helps.

My battery on my Dyson was only lasting 5 minutes. This replacement did the trick and now my Dyson works like new! It was easy to replace the battery.

I ordered the battery almost four years ago to replace the original Dyson, which was lasting for about five minutes.It was easy to install, charges relatively quickly, but most important; it still lasts longer than the original battery ever did. Yes, there has been a degradation in run time, but it is minor.I would buy it again but I don't need to. It still is better than original and I think the vacuum is going to wear out before this battery quits.

It’s been a little over a month now and with constant almost daily use and charging I have had no issues. The battery life is amazing. Hopefully it lasts a while. I will update this review if this changes but for now I do recommend this battery! Installation is incredibly easy, took maybe 2 minutes.

Easy installation, watch it on you tube. I really think the battery from Dyson, was either old, or inefficient. Installed new battery and charged it all the way. Longer run time than when unit was brand new from factory. Definitely worthwhile to salvage your Dyson by replacing battery.

The original new battery that I was sent from Powerextra had a lower capacity than my used Dyson battery!I contacted Powerextra and they quickly sent a replacement. The new battery seems to be much better. Maybe the first battery was from a bad batch? I do appreciate the professional service from this company and how they want to make things right for the customer.Original Review below:I ordered this replacement battery for my Dyson cordless vacuum in December of 2022. The original battery had degraded enough that my wife and I felt it was time for a new battery. I purchased this replacement battery after reading the many positive reviews. Once I installed the new battery, my wife took the vacuum out for a "test drive" and said that the new battery had the same run-time as the old battery! Not what I expected to hear! I decided to continue to use the battery since I had purchased other replacement batteries for laptops and there is a "break-in" process for new lithium-ion batteries. This involves charging the new battery to 100%, then discharging it to 10% and repeating this process a few times. Well, this didn't work and the capacity of the replacement battery remained poor. Beware!
