Battery was easily installed, it came partially charged, and accepted a full charge so I was able to put the vacuum to work right away.

battery worked well for 4 months then completely gave out, will no longer hold a charge. It shows 100% when on the dock but vacuum dies a foot after leaving, battery at 0%.

My Shark vacuum just quit one day.After pulling the battery and tested it as completely dead, I ordered this one.The ratings were a bit strange compared to the original, but it was also 1/3 the price.So far so good, hopefully it has a good long life, just like the original.
