How do I know I need a new battery?
- The working time of full battery is less than 45 minutes.
- The battery will turn green after charging for about 30 minutes.But roomba cannot return to the base to charge properly.
- When the battery is repeatedly charged but cannot make the sweeper work normally.
- (Note: If your Roomba uses a third-party charging dock, make sure the roomba does not run out of charge during use. The battery should have at least 10% remaining charge, otherwise excessive discharge of the battery can damage it and prevent it from charging.)
How to Install:
- Turn the Roomba upside down and orient it so that the wheels are facing upwards and the dustbin is furthest from you.
- Make sure the dust bin is empty, then place Roomba upside down (with cleaning brushes showing ) on a flat surface.
- Put the battery into the battery compartment using your fingers.
- Finally the Battery will be clicked into place when properly seated
Note: If you don't use the battery for long time, please recharge it every three months to prolong the battery lifetime.
Description of battery exceptions:
- The battery can generally work for 2-3 hours on full charge. But it should be noted that the machine generally returns to the base after working for about 60 minutes from the base. It does not mean that the battery power has been exhausted.
- On the iRobot panel, err5 is displayed as a battery problem. Err7 is not entirely the battery problem.
- Other errors can be resolved from the table of the secondary chart.

Mrs Falla had stated slowing down and not returning to home base. I have had her since 2020. Wow! What a huge difference a new battery makes. She ran today 1 hour 40 minutes ! She docked with home base and indicated she still had battery charge. Check reviews carefully.

Fits i3 Roomba perfectly, easy to replace. It has a very long run time, which seems longer than the initial battery. It was half the price of a an iRobot battery.

Replace i3 battery fine and charged right up. Didn't seem to have the longevity of the original, but that's so dependent on how much debris is collected. Satisfied with purchase.

This appears to be the only off brand that works on my roomba. Others wont charge or wont hold a charge. Few months later and this is still working.

It brought my Roomba back to life. The cost of the new battery seems to be appropriate. My Roomba does seem to function better and has more energy. It can now get through several rooms in one session without needing a charge. Very easy to install. Good purchase.

Fits perfect in my Roomba 960 and has solved the problem of it not doing a good cleaning job because of lack of power, and half the price of buying the name brand

I am so pleased that when my roomba comes to the end of its life a simple battery replacement revives its service. It sure beats buying a whole new roomba! It was easy to replace. They even send you a tool for it.

Update: Very disappointed with the longevity of this battery. It is no longer charging. It just seems the battery has died, just a month after the return window closed. Definitely not worth the money.I just got my battery today, but it came partially charged and ready to go. Works perfectly in my Room a J7. This is 1/3 of the price of the battery in the iRobot shop (which was actually sold out).
