This battery worked perfectly at first, then it died.It shows full charge, I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it does not work.I put the original mfgt battery back in and the vacuum powered on, so its not the vacuum.Sounds like a great option to buying straight from Dyson, but not worth just a month worth of light vacuuming.

Good replacement for the original battery. Easy to install. Love that I can vacuum 3 to 4 rooms in one session. Good suction.

What can I say, it's a battery...for a vacuum. What other title should I have used? Anyway, the review, right? OK, easy to swap, a few screws and the old one came out, installed the new one. Piece of cake. No issues with charging, unit works exactly as expected. The only thing is that the LED light ups are not visually helpful. My original Dyson had a charge level and a filter warning, this one has the lights in the same location, but no visual indication what they mean. But it's not rocket science....wait, vacuum....space...maybe it IS ROCKET SCIENCE. lol

Had his battery for a few weeks and was surprised how well its been working. It keeps its charge and fits my dyson ell. Installation was a breeze with no issues. I feel the battery last longer in use than the original, I'm actually vacuum more rooms than the original battery.

Below is the first review of this product, the subsequent review when I purchased it 5 years later, and the review after having the defective battery replaced by the seller....The seller kindly replaced the battery purchased in Feb. of 2023 with a new one. They've said it was perhaps a bad batch. Hoping the new batch is capable of 5 years like the original manafuctured battery and the first one this company replaced for me. Time will tell. For now, I've boosted the rating to 4 stars because this new battery is working perfectly. I appreciated the quick and friendly customer service by this seller.-------------------------Took delivery on Feb. 1, 2023 and for 4 months, it worked just like the first time I bought the battery. Until yesterday. Now it simply won't hold a charge...not even for a minute. It's just completely spent. My usage of the vacuum didn't change. (I use it about 3 times a week.) The only thing that changed is the reliability of this product! What a waste of money!! This is certainly not the same quality battery which lasted 5 years that I was raving about in my first review. I can no longer recommend this product.---------------------I bought my Dyson handheld vacuum in 2013. In 2018, the battery needed replacing. I bought this one and it last me until 2023. So, I can say from experience that this one lasted the same period of time (5 years) as the Original manufactured one from Dyson. It's a good product.
