These work so well I needed more. I have cats in the neighborhood that like to use my vegetable garden as a litter box. I now place these along the rows where nothing is planted to discourage them. The picky spikes do not harm the cats but they find them real uncomfortable to touch or walk over. These are a game changer! Less than a dollar each is a very good price point.

I know these are to stop cats but having puppies who want to dig up every bulb and plant in my boarder has been driving me mad. I’ve put these down and they are just enough to deter the digging. Hopefully this will break the cycle and once the puppies are big enough to work out how to get around my deterrent they will have also grown out of their need to dig.

I’m happy to have this product as I need to make it as a barrier to block rats coming in my garden, it really helps. The size can be formed as you like and it’s good as it described in Amazon. Highly recommend.

I'm already familiar with this type of product, as a couple of years ago I had a problem with foxes digging in the window boxes at the front of my house. I bought prickle strips which were just the right size for the window boxes - and they worked. The foxes have now moved on, but I have two cats who regard my back garden as one giant cat loo! This is particularly the case when I have just planted out anything new - and it drives me crazy! I use my window box spikes, strategically placed, and also a spiky strip I ordered recently, but this requires cutting to the required length.These 20 pieces therefore looked useful as a quick and easy solution to protecting small areas of the garden. They come neatly packed in a cardboard box, which will be good for storing them in, and are easy to use, with no cutting involved. They're a little on the small side for being a great deal of use in my back garden, but would protect recently planted pots, and two together would do for my window boxes. Having only 8 of the U-shaped pegs does seem rather mean though - why not 20?I'm not at all convinced about the suggestions for indoor use, as I can't imagine many people would want black plastic spikes on their sofas and beds - or even around their houseplants. Apart from the look of them, how do you keep them in place? And as for the car bonnet...! However, at 80p per piece, I would say that they are useful if you have the same problem as me with your own cats being your worst enemies in the garden.
