We put these strips on our counter in the kitchen and it has helped. Life changing. Our cats do not even try to jump up any more. Took about 2 weeks of training.

It helps keep the cats off the furniture but I decided to not use them any longer because I didn't want it to puncture my cats paws as the spikes may be plastic but they hurt

Ce produit n’était pas l’idéal pour moi. Les chats réussissaient à monter sur les comptoirs quand même et s’ils ne sont pas collés ils réussissent à les pousser et marcher quand même. Je ne veux pas quelque chose de fixe car sur les comptoirs de cuisine je dois être capable de les enlever pour cuisiner exemple…

UPDATE: 3 Months later these got so brittle from the sun, UVs, etc that the spikes became useless, with pieces coming off.------------------Initially...Good product, sturdy and well made... but these need to be like an inch wider because a typical fence will have a 2x4 across the top and these will leave a half inch gap that nimble-footed cats and possums will stroll along with ease (just a bit slower). We had to tack down narrow strips of more spikes to cover that gap.

I have used items like this before in my garden, but this year, I will be putting them along the edges underneath my deck in the fall. I have voles in my yard, and in the winter, they go in the storage area under my deck and make a mess. I am curious to see if these mats deter them! I like that there were quite a few in the package, making them economical.

they seem to be fine but sure didn't stop any of my cats! cover ever edge in my kitchen yet the cats just jumped over it, no matter how I placed them.

Well, this worked for a while until my cat got used to it…and my cat did just that. He got used to it and just walks right over it now.

I liked the ease of installation. They've certainly kept cats off my wall! The pads are very light weight and must be taped or glued down if installed outdoors. Otherwise they WILL blow away. These mats ARE effective!
