I needed a small, round diamond file to sharpen my wife's favorite serrated kitchen knife. The serrations are much smaller than the serrations in a bread knife. I ordered these files because they're small and they were inexpensive. It's a nice set, but these small files have very short handles, so it took some fiddling to find a way to hold them while using them. Nevertheless, this is the sort of inexpensive tool you order for a special purpose and the price makes them worth ordering, even if only for occasional use.

I purchased these to get details sanded into wood miniatures I create by hand. This is a great little detailing kit and is especially good for beginner miniaturists. There are plenty of shapes and angles included in this set to really cover most all basic needs for detailed sanding. Using these tools is also useful for shaping and whittling.Overall great value for the money for a hobbyist. I highly recommend a set.
