This is a great little Engraver. It was super easy to set up, came packaged well, and after admittedly watching a couple videos on how to operate as I'm a beginner, it was really easy to catch on to. It's a nice size, doesn't take up too much space but works great! As far as I can tell it exceeds my expectations for the projects I'm working on.

This is a Small Business in a Box. You could start a small business from home right away with this T6 12W Laser Engraver Machine, 3-in-1 Rotary Roller Kit, and Gas Assisted Laser Cutting Machine. It has everything you need for engraving or cutting many different materials and objects with the rotary roller kit included. It arrived very well packaged and boxed for protection. It is ready to go basically right out of the box. The quality is excellent. There is free software you can use. I have used laser engravers before but if you are new to this art form, be sure to watch tutorial videos on YouTube or similar sites. I would recommend buying a laser honeycomb bed to protect your table or workspace before you start. Also, get a variety of test materials to learn on/with, before ruining a prized item/project, with your limited knowledge and experience. Once you get the hang of the processes and materials then move on to larger projects. You could sell your awesome creations at local markets or online at sites like Etsy, FB Marketplace, or you could create masterpieces and give them as gifts for friends and family.Where can you start a small business for $600?

I am in love with this little, beautiful beast!!! Absolutely amazing it save my day and even my money, instead of paying a lot of money for the souvenirs that l needed for my mom's 100 birthday, l did it myself!!! It took me some time to get the right set up, but with a little reading everyone can achive doing nice engraving gifts. Working with Grbl is a plus because it is free. For a beginner l truly recommend this machine. It is lightweight, small, good quality, easy to assemble (just to put the laser cartridge and voilà) works great on wood.

This is a nice, small laser engraver set that is great for a beginner like me. I've wanted to try it so I ordered this. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. It is small enough and not intimidating. I was happy it did not require assembly except attaching the laser.I read the book and watched some videos. I realize there is a lot I don't know about engraving and it can seem like a lot of info, but this engraver set has everything to start, including enough for one test run. They included a 9.9cm x 9.9 cm balsa square and metal place the same size. The balsa square and metal plate are smaller than the 13 cm x 13 cm max engraving area but it a good starter. I suggest having more material on hand before you start. Once you get started and are into the process, you will want to keep testing different settings.I'll want to get a larger piece of metal or something to protect the surface of your work area if I want to engrave larger than 9.9m. Personally, I'll keep something larger that's the size of the engraving area underneath just in case. The instruction booklet is in color. It has many steps with images that detail how to start a project using the two main engraver software products - one is free and one is around $99 (at time of this review) after a trial period. They provide info about safety, troubleshooting, etc. They included a couple of pages of recommended settings for common materials such as power, speed, pass count, etc. I was happy to see that because it provides a good starting point. Overall happy with the manual. I included a couple of small snippets of pages to show the level of detail. They mention a lot of things that can be done with this 3.5Watt laser but, from my research, the general consensus is that the lower wattage lasers (under 10W) are majorly for engraving and the lower the watt, the more limited the types of surfaces. I'll test more to see what I can do with this as I go along. The value in the price is relative to what you are looking for. There are more recognized brands out there that may cost more and are more widely discussed in forums/videos. If that is something you want, that could be a factor. A lot of the learning curve seems to be setting up the software with the right parameters for different materials to accommodate the power of my laser, and that will take some trial and error with different ones.

I am not impressed by the quality. The tack welds that hold the aluminum honeycomb waves together give with the slightest pressure from any button holder (or whatever you call the tings that hold your material down while your laser works). I am satisfied with the length of the honeycomb bed for the price. It has heavy rods to help with stability, and an aluminum backing to help protect your workspace. It does the basic function as expected. Other than that, I'd buy another brand. It's hard to determine the strength of the welds unless you use the item.

Bought two for my expanded xy bed and taking the sides off makes this work really well.
