I recently purchased a Honeycomb Laser Bed as a cost-effective alternative for my **xTool S1** paired with the **riser assembly**. While this bed isn’t specifically designed for the S1, I was curious to see if it could serve as an additional honeycomb bed, and I’m pleased to share my findings.### Fit and Compatibility:As shown in my photos, this honeycomb bed **fits well inside the xTool S1's housing when used with the riser assembly**. However, it will not fit the laser housing without the riser, so if you're not using the riser assembly, this may not be the best option. That said, the **S1's adjustable shelf** allows for precise elevation of the bed to your desired height, which is a useful workaround.### Usability:The honeycomb holes are exactly the same dimensions as the xTool version (just under **11mm wide**), which means **xTool's magnetic holders** can be used seamlessly with this bed. This was a big plus for me, as I didn’t need to purchase additional accessories or compromise on functionality.### Dimensions:At **19.68" x 19.68"**, this honeycomb bed matches the xTool S1's workable surface area perfectly. However, keep in mind that the **effective workspace is reduced by 1-5/8" due to the bed's framework**. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, it’s worth noting for anyone who needs the full surface area for larger projects.### Additional Features for Other Laser Users:For users of **portable laser cutters or other laser models**, the included **aluminum sheet** and **rubber feet** will prove particularly handy. The aluminum sheet acts as a protective barrier, preventing potential damage to underlying surfaces, while the rubber feet offer stability and elevate the bed slightly, improving airflow. These features make it an excellent option for portable setups or those without a dedicated workstation.### Conclusion:Overall, this Honeycomb Laser Bed is a **solid, budget-friendly alternative** for xTool S1 users and a versatile addition for users of other laser cutters. It provides excellent compatibility with the S1’s accessories, is easy to integrate with the existing setup, and offers useful features like the aluminum sheet and rubber feet for added functionality.The slight reduction in usable workspace due to the framework is the only downside, but for the price and utility, it’s a tradeoff I’m happy to make. If you're looking for an extra bed, a replacement, or a reliable option for portable laser cutting, this product is definitely worth considering.

Great upgrade. Was able to laser printing some hold downs that fit right into the honeycombs to hold projects in place.Also help in dissipating the heat.

This comes with a metal plate to go underneath to protect your work surface. Works great!

PROS: Huge size. You don’t have to move the bed around or worry about your material hanging over the edge and possibly tilting or shifting. The convenience factor of this over the smaller ones is huge.It helps improve your cuts, and lets the smoke have somewhere to go that’s not singeing the back of your project. Great for wood and paper especially. If you have clips (see CONS) then the bed makes lining things up super easy. You set it once, and then you have a guide for every other time in that run, saving a ton of time and frustration.This comes with a sheet of aluminum to sit underneath and protect your worktop. Our setup uses a sacrificial top, but the aluminum sheet is easier overall.CONS: Lacks ruler markings along the sides, which would have been quite easy to add.There are also not clips included, and it doesn’t appear like this company sells any either, which is a let down.For 100$, I would like to see markings, and at least 4 clips. The clips are just tiny bits of plastic, they should definitely be included.PRICE/VALUE: I don’t know why, but honeycomb beds are just expensive, even the small ones. Looking at prices at various sizes, this seems to follow that ratio fairly well. However, it is 100 bucks, and it should have rulers etched in or a set of clips at the very least. No one want to pay that much, and then realize that you need to buy something else that a much cheaper, albeit smaller, bed came with only then to realize the company doesn’t sell them.

Came as advertised and fit my Lazer machine it was thicker than I thought so I had to put the Lazer legs on a stand so I could do thicker material

The honeycomb fit perfectly in the Falcon2. The rubber corners give it great stability. I definitely recommend getting this for your Creality Falcon2 laser.
