Works great on the shooting range. We really like these.

Looks really cool and ultimately provides a really good seal for hearing protection. The mic feature also works well, was able to hear others speaking to me, but completely blocked out gun fire noise.

These were a good value but after trying them at 2 indoor ranges I discovered that the microchip is just not as sophisticated as the ones used by Walker. I compared a Walker brand earmuffs against these and the Zohan brand would intermittently amplify a gun shot sound for a split-second before muting it if I turned happened to turn head toward the source of the gunshot. And I could not always hear the voice of the range officer when he was giving instructions only 8 ft away from me. The Zohan was fine for the money but the electronics were just better on the Walker and I wanted to protect my hearing as much as possible.

You get directional sound and gel ear pads for the price which is the selling point for me. Great for hunting. The sound is good but not lifelike. Picks up wind, low rumbles, and footsteps really well. Hard to hear around you if you are walking through crunch leaves. That sound will dominate. But move slow or stand still and you can still here around you.I bird hunt with my dog and it's great to be able to hear where my dog is rooting around in the cover looking for birds. I wouldn't buy hearing protection that wasn't directional, because I'd like to know exactly where the sound is coming from. Probably wouldn't matter as much for target shooting.Fits fairly well over a beanie, depending on your hat you can still get a good seal especially if you have the gel ear cups. I've had both and they definitely are way better, worth the money for the upgrade. They are decent quality but not waterproof. I've had two pairs die. One from getting soaked in the rain and then the wiring rusting and corroding because I never thought to take the ear pads off and dry everything. And another time from leaving it with batteries stored inside for a few months. That was probably my bad.Batteries last a while, usually can hunt about an entire day in one set. Like 8 hours maybe more.

These are great for the cost. They worked great on the gun range and didn't have any issue with firing range noise. Headphones worked great and the sound quality was crisp. They felt comfortable over my ears and didn't feel compressing or heavy

Good fit. My first pair of noise cancelling hearing protection. I love how well I can hear voice but when the pops start, they are muted.

I like these by default, but really like them with some upgrades.I bought these because they looked like a deal and I upgraded the pads to gel. I ran to a vest mic from my baofeng uv5rs. From the mic, I ran an aux cable from the mic to the ears and they sound great. One thing you'd notice is that the audio is mono and will only come through one ear. A simple mod on the aux cable can fix this. A little bit of solder to bridge the tip and first ring will make your radio come the headphones on both sides.I think these are worth looking at if you want to run with radios.

Both work very well as described. Good value for the cost.
