Like others have said in reviews. These make the hearing protection so much more comfortable. Moulds to the arms of glasses really well and are very squishy which equals comfort. If there is a gripe to note, it’s terrible putting them on at first in the winter if they are cold. But that’s a minor inconvenience.

These gel pads improve the sound reduction with their much improved form-fit and also comfort when wearing protective glasses. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Fit in my Howard Leight by Honeywell, Impact Sport headset. They have a 3m adhesive back (looks to be a peel & stick), but it's not used for this head set. It's held in by the same tabs which hold the original. Snap the old out, set the new in: Easy swap! The plastic covering the gel is very thin, but that's part of why they are so comfortable. They form around prescription safety glass frames and stay sealed when turning my head & moving around. The thin cover & soft gel allow me to wear them thru my entire shift. These are what Honeywell should have used in the first place. Four stars cause they're too expensive for what they are.

Way more comfortable than what came with the originals. Easy to install. The old pads would drive me nuts within a half an hour. I'm good with these all day.

The original ear padding that comes with the Howard Light Impact Sport ear protection sucks. It is okay for about the first 6 months or so, but will start to flatten and become VERY uncomfortable, and I mean uncomfortable to the point of hurting and causing red marks on your ears. The PROHEAR GEP02 Gel Ear Pads made by 3M are fantastic. Extremely easy to install and fit the Howard Light Impact Sport ear muffs perfectly. They are quite gentle on your ears and stay comfortable over time. After many additions to my complete load out, I can easily say that this was the cheapest, but has possibly provided me with the best functional addition. A load out should be functional and as comfortable as possible because you might have to wear your gear for long periods of time, and should not be bought just for the "cool factor". I put 16 years into the military and was a Law enforcement POST firearms instructor for 8 years. I am now completely retired but have learned so many things over the past 30 years, and believe me, comfort is a huge factor when having to wear a lot of gear over long periods of time.

I shoot competition and wear my Howard Leight for extended periods. These gell replacement pads are MUCH better than the stock ones. If you are going to be wearing your ear pro for more than an hour. GET THESE.

They are very comfortable compared to stock replacements.....they don't pinch my ears as they fit perfectly, even while wearing glasses...

As a preliminary review with limited use (just recently purchased) cannot speak to how long these will last but. . . these are really, really comfortable compared to the standard pads on my Howard Leights. Fit onto the Howard Leights is perfect with no need to use the adhesive backing as they clipped onto the existing positioning clips perfectly and are firmed and cleanly held in place without having to deal with any adhesive mess in the future when they need eventual replacing. The immediate improvement in comfort is especially noticeable with new ear pro which tends to be somewhat tighter on the head/ears until the head band wears in. They were so comfortable that I gave the second pair to my military officer “macho” son who insisted that he did not need these, but who admitted they were really really comfortable and quite the improvement over the standard pads for long days at the range. Again, do not know how the material will hold up over time but so far they remain intact and pliable and keep their shape. I kept the standard pads just in case these tear or distort over time and can easily replace them as I previously mentioned I clipped them into place without removing the paper backing on the adhesive. Excellent so far.

I will be using gel ear cups from now on. It's just better then the standard pads. Less to no fatigue during all day use with or without glasses.

I wear my Impact pro earmuffs 8hr/per for environmental work noise. Within a few months the factory pads have lost almost all flexibility. So when turning my head or leaning over gaps open between the pad and my head letting sound through. My new ProHear pads are very soft and conforming, and spread the pressure out around the ear without concentrating it to smaller pressure points. The grove in the middle makes them like a double seal, even if I twist enough or have hair in the way to cause the outer seal to open the inner one is unaffected.Besides actually sealing and blocking the sound, I can't tell if there is any increased sound reduction from these pads, nor does the manufacturer claim it, however similarly available pads did. This may be due to the condition of my old pads.I normally wear my safety glasses arms canted above the pads because of how hard the old pads were. I'm surprised that I can wear my glasses like normal and actually can't even feel them under my ear, and they seal just fine. *note I haven't tested this long term. I can even put on and remove my glasses without removing the earmuffs.I am curious how long they will last, due to the "ultra-thin sheet of polyurethane" so I won't comment until I have used them longer than a week. The Cons are a little nit-picky, but there were very few reviews for these when I got them so I'll give all the info I can:*The pads feel like a thin bag full of gel, this allows the earmuffs to "shift around" when moving, compared to my old hard pads that felt more secure in place.*Like a bag full of gel, they seem like an ice/heat pack. They are cold when you put them on, take a while to warm up, and when worn for longer periods of time, do not dissipate the heat.*The inside ear hole edge is a little sharp. This combined with the greater ability for the earmuffs to shift around means I have to readjust them sometimes, to move my earlobe away from the edge. I would like to try to round that edge over but do not want to cause a separation between the thin polyurethane layer and the backing, as I have seen from an amazon customer image of a similar product.Overall I am so far very pleased with these pads, and hope they last as long as described.
