most gauges are hard to read and only hold 2 or 3 inches. These are the best I have found. I live on a ranch and lease my land. I notify my lessor as to the amount of rain I receive because he lives some distance from my ranch.

Even better than the Last One , ** but this New “All in One” Mount design ** ??? Well it left a little to be desired & necessitated a quick improvisation in the mount. I loved the older design !! It could EASILY BE popped out, Drained after a rain, BUT ? this new design ? Well it’s not too friendly to Quick emptying & reset, so I just cut up A piece of scrap to make for a SIMPLE slide in slide out mount, (note* Slots cut all the way from top to bottom) & in less than 10 minutes on a bandsaw & light sanding it was ready & (relax) it will get Painted in the spring with the rest of the deck. All in all I’m very happy & ready for SPRING.

I like I got 4 of these so as they break or become unreadable, I will have a few spares to replace them with.Not sure about how accurate they are as I do not have a way to compare but they give me a good idea to how much rain / moisture I get with the weather.They were easy to install just a couple of screws into the fence post and I was done.
