To be honest, I thought I was getting a sheet metal thickness gauge. I'm not sure what to do with a wet film depth gauge. I don't paint much so it's not very important for me.

Measuring the gauge with a pair of calipers, some of the measurements are spot on the label, and some are within 1 mil, for example my 24 was measuring 25, which is within tool and user error. It's usable. It comes in a small sleeve to keep it safe. This particular comb doesn't seem much different from others offering multi-packs for a similar price, so value is up to the buyer.
