Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Industrial-886 is a high-precision instrument in the range of industrial meters of the VVV-Group company.
Industrial-886 used to apply the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection to measure the thickness (or speed of sound) of ultrasonic good conductor materials, including: measuring the thickness of metal materials such as steel, iron, copper, or aluminum, and measuring the thickness of non-metallic materials such as plastic, ceramic, rock, or glass.
Ultrasonic Thickness tester range was 15.75in with a maximum resolution of 0.01in. When measuring, first set the material (or sound speed) of the measured object first, apply the coupling agent, and then fit the probe to the daub part, and the instrument can measure the thickness of the measured object.
Ultrasonic Thickness meter Industrial-886 has a standard menu and data display interface for displaying both average, minimum, and maximum values. In addition, the instrument contains large-capacity memory. During the measurement process, the instrument can count and record the measurement results (restart can be query).

!Important This is not a coating thickness gauge, it is used to measure the thickness of the substrate.
Note!
- The binder is necessary for the measurement and must be evenly applied to the measured points on the surface of the object under test.
- Thickness can be measured by lightly pressing the feeler gauge against the surface of the object to which the couplant has been applied.

I’ve been trying to find YouTube videos and start up instructions in the items provided. I am new at this and I need good instructions. I found a video and you can’t even see what buttons the guy is pushing. Do you have to calibrate this every time you turn it on? The packaging seems great, but I need to know how to use the thing! I can probably change my rating once I fully understand the proper use of this item

I got what I wanted and even more. The thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of steel sheet on the ship's hull. We compared the accuracy of this tester with other much more expensive devices and the deviations were very small. We use it every day and are always sure of the result.
