Very good quality! I had to loosen the screw ALMOST OFF and pull the hoop apart to the back of the screw AS FAR AS IT WOULD GO WITHOUT THE SCREW COMING OFF. It fit over the clarinet allowing me to tighten it properly. If you take the screw off completely, you can not tighten it back once the liar is looped on the clarinet. It is the only liar I found to fit.

This was for my daughter to use in marching band. It held up throughout and season and still seems to be in good condition.

I bought this to use on a C clarinet not knowing if it would fit. It does. Also fit well on the Bb horn. I don't need it often but when you do..... It seems sturdy enough and the price was good. It also arrived quickly.

Second Lyer ... (first was Different brand) last one broke after one use and definitely was flimsy!! If you own a Yamaha clarinet get this lyer!! It is made for this brand instrument !!

I bought this lyre for marching band purposes and it fits a little big on my Vito plastic clarinet. Works fine, but the size is a minimal issue. Probably works better on Yamaha brand clarinets.

This Lyre worked well for most of the marching band season.It has a good spring, did not rust or tarnish, and fit her (yamaha) marching clarinet well.But the post broke half way through the season.So I give it 5 stars for utility.5 stars for looks.4 stars for fit.3 stars for durability.
