First if you have a yamaha euphonium, the lyre is too long and goes out of your vision towards the left. Second if you try to bend it even a little the pot metal it's made of gives out and sheers. This lyre IS NOT made of brass, it would have been more ductile if that was the case.

What I like about this Lyre is that it is adjustable because it is not that rigid, each player will differ with music placement and this one is long enough where it can be put in a vice and shortened and adjusted to individual requirements, I like the finish and the fact it came with a bag and polishing cloth that is a special touch that you did not see thirty years ago, the Lyre can be placed in a bag when it is not necessary to use it outdoors, great for marching band, pep band and any occasion where the folios are being used. Highly Recommend.

My son is in the marching band and plays the alto Sax. I ordered this for his flip book. This product was not for the instrument I ordered it for. The product was pictured to have a front facing clip but ended up being side facing. That makes this product useless for my purpose.
