Bought for one occasion, it absolutely performed! My husband had an alumni marching band show. This held up perfectly on his bass trombone. It then held perfectly on a cornet for an entire outdoor show. Worth every penny.

But keep track of the screw that tightens the clamp around the bell... Somehow my trombone player lost the screw the first time playing a football game so we had to order a second lyre. This fits most flip books as well.
