Looked like it would have worked fine with my daughter's marching horn, but we couldn't test it out because the horn was missing the screw to hold it in, and it doesn't come with one. And then she lost it the first week she had it.

My son is new to Marching Band this year. This is easy to install and remove. It stays in place and stands up to some very rough marching abuse. Great quality.

And it is a lot better then the one that clamps onto the trumpet. Get this one. I have/had the other one and it was always falling off when i would move fast or marching. This one has cause me no issues so far and i will let you know after I use it a while. I can already tell that it is going to be a better one then the clamp-on.
