Since I didn't know much about lyre's when I bought this, I failed to realize this was too thick to fit on the joint between the upper and lower sections of the clarinet which is where it would need to be in order to actually read the music it holds. Had to return and get a different style for my grandson's clarinet.

Don't order this one!This is a heavy lyre, and doesn't fit the clarinet appropriately (between the 2 keyed sections of the clarinet - and not as pictured in the product images). With the silicone bands in place, the lyre gets in the way of the keys... With the silicone tubing removed, it's far too big for the instrument.As a rookie marching band mom, I wish I had known sooner how to properly install it so that we weren't stuck scrambling to find an appropriate one immediately in the middle of marching band camp. Will be returning.

Pour installer le lyre, il faudrait plier une des clé de la clarinette, ce qui fait que la clarinette ne va pas fonctionner correctement.J'ai commandé cette lyre en pensant que j'allais proteger ma clarinette par rapport au lyre métallique, mais ce n'est pas le cas;Peut-être en enlevant le plastique cela va fonctionner. Le plastique est beaucoup trop épaisse.De l'argent jeté par la fenêtre!

This Lyre was heavy and the weight made my daughters clarinet fall apart during a performance. Don’t grease your cork too much if you use it.
