Have now had both for right and left sides, although slightly different issues (DeQuervain's tendonitis on one side, trigger thumb on the other).On both of them, despite all of the proper measurements, the velcro strap that is across the back of the hand is too short, and if you can close it, it's too tight on the hand. Fortunately, the velcro strap for the thumb is longer than it needs to be, so I was able to cut one shorter and sew the extra onto the other strap.That said, this is comfortable and provides the support that you need for the problem to resolve.

This thumb/ wrist guard is just what I needed to immediately relieve my pain. My physical therapist recommend that I treat this pain with this device for a six week period. This is a good recommendation. I will definitely sleep in it and wear it throughout the day. Thinking of getting a second one for night time.

I have tried all sorts. Where my wrist bone sticks out I have somehow hurt it and the dendin that assists in moving wrist and thumb. This stabilizes both firmly ! I can sleep in it comfortably and not worry I'm going to wake up with my usual bent wrist causing more damage. This is so helpful and well made. Pricy but worth it

First of all I have medium sized hands. The medium sized brace runs small. I can't imagine what someone with large hands would do. The strap nearest the fingers isn't long enough to fit. I had to cut it off. The strap nearest the elbow is too long if you can imagine that. It's useless. Thankfully the middle strap is all you need. i just use that and the brace is tight, firm and supportive. The thumb support is very good. Sooo it's poorly designed but passable and useable
