Excellent brace. Helps relieve pain and keeps thumb in the correct position.

Exactly what the therapist ordered. Fit great.

The first one I ordered was very comfortable. This second one is very uncomfortable. It runs smaller than the last one so I basically threw out everything except the piece that goes around my thumb.

By far the best thumb brace also the sleeves are the best. They are great and comfortable do the sleeves that come with it not like the other sleeves cheap.

Immobilizer shores up the thumb joint. No need to make super tight.I can write with a pen/pencil much more easily, without pain, eg.A piece if conical skin tone rubber or latex came with this brace. Maybe intended as a liner between brace and skin. I threw the piece out.I ordered the extra replacement velcro straps just to have, but it appears the originals will last quite some time.

I have the "push" brand, gray braces for each thumb. I have had them for about 5 years and the Velcro is beginning to wear out. When I saw THIS brace that LOOKS nearly the same, I thought I could buy it as a backup. I tried it on one time and then returned it straight away. The material of this brace is different from the "push" brand and is not only shaped differently which makes it uncomfortable but also does not flex and form in a way that would make it fit comfortably around the base of my thumb. Something about the straps were different too, in a way that was just not comfortable to wear across my hand. If you can spend more money, I recommend the much more expensive grey "push" brand thumb braces. BUT, maybe this one is comfortable and sufficient for some people! It just wasn't for me, personally.

Good try but quality is not there.Good price, but lacks quality. Great idea to make Velcro replaceable. Bad idea to just stick small pieces of Velcro at both ends. Take a look at the 3rd picture. Because the Velcro is just a piece, I can't let it out more to fit better. And trying to adjust the two straps on the other end doesn't help. The plastic part is misshapen. Take a look at the last picture (grey one is for comparison and is the expensive brand). The shape of the place where thumb comes out is not an oval. Support seems to be ok regardless but it's not comfortable. It also digs into the space under finger as there is a Triangular piece sticking out..I could go on but the point is, it doesn't work.Oh, and stuffing it into a smaller box for shipping, doesn't do it any favors. They bent it when trying to squish it in.Returning

I like that my thumb joints (right and left) are much less painful. I thought I ordered size L the first time--large hands for a female--but I received size medium and had to return them. I had to request a refund and reorder, but the size L arrived a few days later. I tried using the braces without the hand sleeves the first day, and the plastic between my thumb and pointer finger hurt, so I had to take them off. Today, I used the little hand sleeves that were included, and they are much more comfortable, although a bit hot to wear. The sleeves are a stretchy rubber/plastic glove type material. Perhaps I can leave off the little sleeves after I get used to the braces.I tried other braces, but they severely restricted use of my fingers. I am typing while wearing these new braces--something I could not do with other braces I tried. My doctor recommended a more expensive version that he let me try on. I don't notice a difference between these and the more expensive braces he recommended. If you have joint pain in your thumbs and need to use your hands, these are worth trying.
