I ordered this for my husband, who has been busy plumbing our new house. We needed a much longer hose for our Shop-Vac and this fit the bill. There are 3 adapters that come with the hose, and only 1 fit the unit we have and we supplemented with a generous layer of duct tape (Man's best friend) to help with any area not fitting snug. Worked like a charm, and I have a happy plumber!

This is a really good quality hose. I am happy with the length of the hose and the choices for the end of the hose. This allows a lot of mobility with the vacuum end without much moving of the vacuum. I recommend it.

Muy buen producto, viene con los accesorios para ponérselos a cualquier aspiradora de 2.5 pulgadas. Unos días antes compré en una tienda departamental una manguera de solo 2.5 metros por el doble del precio que pague por está. Tengo un autolavado y recomiendo este producto al 100%

My old but working Craftsman 3HP 8gal Wet Dry Vac was a pain to drag around with its OEM 6ft hose, so adding a new 20ft hose was a welcome improvement. The Craftsman is Model 113.177010 and is at least 30 years old. The new 2-1/2" hose fits fine; one end has a built-in swivel that plugs directly into the vacuum. The hose itself is the same unpleasant corrugated hard black plastic like the original but it works fine. Included are three adapters, two with locking tabs for the newer style vacuum models but don't interfere with the non-locking style like mine. In my case I found by using one of the adapters at the free end of the 20ft hose I could plug in the original 6ft hose so I now have a total of 26ft. And as the original hose also had a swivel end, I now have swivels at both the vacuum and the wand end which definitely helps prevent annoying twists in the hose. Now I can leave the vacuum parked in the garage in one spot and just move the hose around to reach the cars, woodworking tools, etc. No doubt there is a slight loss of suction efficiency due to pumping losses in a longer hose, but it's not really noticeable for day to day tasks. Truth is, what this hose cost me in 2021 is probably the same as what the entire vacuum cost back in 1990, but there's inflation for you.

I have a large Ridgid wet/dry vac that has a 2-1/2 inch port for the hose attachment. I purchased this extra long hose specifically to use with that vacuum to remove a lint clog in our dryer venting duct that could not be cleared with a lint brush. I needed a long hose to be able to get to the clog. This hose, at first glance looks like the hose for my wet/dry vac except longer. It has a tapered end on one end to fit attachments, and the other end is just open hose. This set comes with 3 different sized adapters to fit that non-tapered end so the hose can be customized to differing sized vacuum ports. The adapters all have a slightly tapered end designed to fit in the hose and stay in place. It is a snug fit but they do go on if you work at it.The main problem with this hose is the largest adapter, advertised to fit a standard 2-1/2 inch port, does NOT fit that size port. I measured the adapter, and its interior diameter is 2-1/4 inches and exterior diameter is 2-5/8 inches. The good news is the tapered end of my existing vacuum hose fits into that adapter just fine. So, in essence, this hose cannot replace my existing vacuum hose but does function as a 20 foot extension. So those who have a vacuum with a 2-1/2 inch port are wasting money paying for a coupler if your intention is to extend your current hose. You will be disappointed, however, if your intention is to replace your existing hose for a port that size.In summary, this 20 foot hose makes for a good extension for an existing hose that plugs into a 2-1/2 inch port on a vacuum. The included adapter is not sized correctly to use this hose to fit a 2-1/2 inch port as a replacement hose. The other adapters included may fit other brands of vacuums and two other sized ports, so depending upon your vacuum and its port size, this hose may fit other vacuums as a replacement hose. If you can get this hose fit to your wet/vac vacuum it is a great way to clean your dryer ducting, improve dryer efficiency, and reduce your risk from a fire in a dryer duct.I try to write informative product reviews. A very good hose. Full volume 2.5" outer diameter (standard dimensions), with vac ends to fit all types.The one I received is about 20' long, and has extra flex for the first foot or so at each end of the hose.A perfect mate for my Rigid WD1450 -- exactly like the original hose, but much MUCH longer!In the past, I have resorted to purchasing multiple 8' hoses with couplers to make long enough hoses,but this one is a much better solution -- no more heavy, rigid/droopy coupler sections in the middle of the hose run.
