Hose worked well. I needed to trim it down to smaller lengths and did with no issues. The included clamps allowed me to get a tight seal with no tools. Would buy again

Wonderful visual aid and an important addition to my dust collection in the shop. I love that I can see where a partial blockage is and quickly clear the obstruction. I do not get a blockage often but as any woodworker knows....it does mhappen on occasion. This hose is very durable. I am glad that I purchased this vacuum hose.

I bought this hose for my husband to connect to a drum he has in order to make a vacuum for our shop. It works great! Very sturdy and perfect length for what we needed. Price was great for the item received. May end up buying another one for our other shop.

The hose is great. The twist clamps broke on me, but the hose is still ok. It's very very flexible so if you're using it on dust collection or shopvac, if you cover the end or if you have a narrow nozzle on the end or something and youre vacuuming like a chair or something, the hose contracts SO quickly and violently it knocks my cyclone over, it yanks machines, and the clamps may break. It's durable...but yeah, be careful.

***Updated 11/5/24 *** The length of the hose is honestly not a deal breaker it was just disappointing. The biggest issue I currently have with the hose now that I have used it is the static charge build-up from the wood shavings running through the hose. I have it hooked to my central dust collection and a thickness planer. The static buildup and resulting shock it gives you after only 30 seconds of using is almost unbearable. I ended up having to attach a length of wire attached to a fender washer that touches my concrete floor. The static discharge can be seen as it zaps the ground. This helps some....but realistically I don't think this should be used for woodworking dust collection. I am going to have to buy different hose, static resistant hose, because this hose will zap you with a very uncomfortable static shock after only a few seconds of use.Bought a different brand 2-1/2" hose that was advertised as 10' and this 4" hose also listed as 10'. The other brand was a quite a few inches longer than this when fully extended. I measured this and while fully extended it came out to around 110". Also has a smell that I'm guessing will go away over time. The hose does seem to be well built and fits snug over 4" dust collector fittings. The hose clamps that come with the kit are hot garbage and got pitched right away. Overall I dont think I would purchase this brand again.

This hose seems very durable and has no air leaks when installed correctly. The wire helps keep it from crushing, and I also had no static coming off of it. It is very flexible but stiff enough to not collapse under the dust collect pull like other hoses I’ve used. It was a good price and plenty long enough for my needs.

Well, it kind of is. The factors that made this my top selection were, in no certain order:• Clear plastic - if there is a clog I can easily see where the sawdust is backing up• Flexibility - they are all pretty much the same here• Price for length - this was pretty close to the least expensive• No-Tool clamps - I like the finger tabs on the clamps because I don't have to go searching for a toolI expect to replace the tubing when I have dragged the thing all over my garage shop for several months. Without paying a premium for a fully rubberized outer ring over the steel coil the full expectation is that the hose edges will eventually wear down and leak. An epoxy floor will be easier on the hose than a cement floor which is just a rougher surface.Since shop layouts change and iterate over time, I may end up with a hanging system over part of the shop which will, of course, affect wear and tear on the hose.

I needed this hose for my CNC dual dust collection system. The thick PVC material is strong verses other plastic. The hose clamps are durable, no screwdriver needed! I ground my steel wire on both ends to reduce electrostatic discharge. Other similar products have plastic wire coil. Make sure you get the steel wire. I will purchase again in the future.
