The cutting capacity listed is wrong. It is not 3.75 inches. It is 2.5 inches. Quite a difference. I’m sure the seller would like to correct this. I actually had one out of the box and was disappointed because it looked like a well built tool, but it’s really a sub compact.

It definitely took some getting used to, but since this is my first cordless bandsaw I don't have any experience to compare against. So I can't count against that. It did what I needed, so a plus there. The biggest downer for me is the proprietary battery. I'd rather it not have included any battery and come with adapters to mount any of the major manufacturer's batteries. Because now I have yet another battery and charger to keep track of chew up real estate in the tool bag/box.

Nothing says what size blade and it cuts at a slight angle great size. Blade cut through the guard 2 days after returnable. SMH

General comments:I do steel fabrication at work from time to time. We use a portable corded bandsaw for the small stuff and a horizontal bandsaw for the big stuff. So, I do have experience with bandsaws. The portable bandsaw is great for small jobs and for cutting down larger pieces to make them more easily managed to move over to the horizontal bandsaw.I have a home and a farm, and I do maintenance and fabrication at home. Some of my work is not close to power. For that reason, I was looking for a cordless portable bandsaw for the work that I do.Here are my findings based on my experience with this saw.Pros:· Portable.· Nice balance.· Comfortable grip.· Extra blade.· Easy blade changing.· Storage case.· Cuts very well and clean.· The removable handle comes in handy for steadier cuts.· The speed (rpm) adjustment is great for different materials and thickness.· Price.· Battery charger.Cons:· The safety switch is a PITA as with most tools that have them.· The battery is not compatible with DeWalt.Other thoughts:· I do not know how long the battery lasts per charge.· I do not know the life of the battery before it needs to be replaced.In summary, I would recommend it.

This compact portable bandsaw is an extremely durable low-cost portable bandsaw. It comes with one metal cutting blade installed and a spare metal cutting blade. I found that this blade is capable of not only cutting metal but can cut wood and plastic if you don’t rush the cut. In fact, cutting wood using only sight pressure creates a smoother cut than would a wood cutting blade with 8-10 teeth per inch.The blade is easy to change out with a single twist of the side lever after removing the safety covers. The hex tool to remove the cover is included and attaches to the tool so it is always handy if needed. Always remove the battery before changing blades.The support grip is easily detached to store in the included case and can be attached to the bandsaw in either the left or right hand sides to accommodate the job and the handiness of the user.One of the features that sets this tool apart from other branded compact portable bandsaws is that it has a stop plate attached so the cutting surface has a solid surface to rest against when being cut. Other brands do not have this feature.The battery charges extremely fast and from a complete discharge to full charge too no more than 2.5 hours. The battery has charging lights to show the progress of the charging cycle and to indicate when the battery is fully charged. The remain charge of the battery can be obtained without removing the battery from the saw so you always know how much work you have left in your tool before needing charging.The manual was well written and illustrative of the tools use, blade change out, battery insertion/removal and battery charging.The only issue I had was finding blades that are designed for wood or plastic and had to contact customer support for assistance. I was informed that the included blade would indeed efficiently cut wood and plastic, but the blade is the same size as the Bosch compact portable bandsaw, so that vendors carrying any Bosch compatible blade would also fit this WorkPro tool. This is a positive finding as Bosch compatible blades are readily available most of the time from major vendors and big box stores.If you are looking for a lightweight compact portable bandsaw which is also half the price of other major brands, you cannot go wrong with this tool.
