Dual function Moisture Meter with a wealth of features. I am a woodworker and have been wanting a moisture meter for some time now, however, there wasn't a product out there at the time that would meet my needs. This unit has met every requirement, price, features, readout, both shop and builder selection, and, object selection. The ease-of-use, and it fits great in the hand also displays the room temperature when turned on. Great product I have no complaints, the price for what you get hits the mark!

This compact moisture reader is fantastic! Unlike other models I've tried, this one doesn't just throw numbers at you—it actually helps you understand what those numbers mean and how to interpret them.I mainly used it to check for potential leaks in my walls, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations, especially on regular drywall. You simply glide it slowly along the wall near suspected leak areas, and it does the rest.In my case, it revealed that while there wasn't a pipe leak, moisture was seeping through the grout in my shower onto the drywall backing (it's an old shower without a waterproof membrane). The meter's readings were very accurate —0% moisture in most areas, gradually increasing to 100% near the shower. It made it a lot easier to repairOverall, it's incredibly user-friendly, precise, and saved me from potential water damage headaches. Highly recommended!

I purchased this when I was in the market for a lobster boat. I use it for checking for wood rot in the bilge and the stern area. worked pretty good was somewhat reliable. I am now using it to check my firewood. so far so good.

The meter came in 2 days and was packaged well. The 9-volt battery came with it along with easy to follow instructions. Once set up it works well and is accurate. I feel that the value for the money is perfect and would recommend this meter to anyone who needs to check the moisture content in any kind of wood or dehydrated food.

This tool is a must for anyone who burns in a fireplace or woodstove. The readout is easy to read and the device is accurate and sturdy. Like others have mentioned, the screen is bright and easy to read. Slight pressure will sink the prongs in enough to get a response. Has dual use to use without the prongs. Price was reasonable and well worth the money. Paid for itself in no time. Will use for woodworking projects next and update. Comes with a battery, ready to go.
