This instrument is a stable, reliable and safe wood moisture tester. It uses a high-performance microcontroller as the measurement and control core, with fast measurement response, high accuracy and low power consumption. It can detect 4 major tree species and 6 humidity measurement modes for paper packaging and building walls. It is compact and portable, and is equipped with a large-size LCD display, with clear and intuitive readings. It is suitable for rapid determination of moisture content in materials such as wood raw materials, paper, plywood, whitewashed walls, and floors.

Reference table
- Tree species 1 is suitable for: Rhodesian teak, white red bean, Brazilian walnut.
- Tree species 2 is suitable for: walnut, clone wood, poplar, teak.
- Tree species 3 is suitable for: light wood, sandalwood, elm, Yunnan wood, hemlock, torch tree, balsam, fir, Douglas fir, ash, willow, willow, silver fir, armor wood, ash.
- Tree species 4 is suitable for: Masson pine, Chilean pine, white pine, larch, fir, Arctic birch.
- Paper type: printing paper, coated paper, cardboard, cardboard.
- Building wall: powder wall, gypsum board, putty wall, cement wall.
Automatic power off
To save battery power, the automatic power off function is activated when the device is turned on: if no button is operated within 5 minutes, the device will automatically turn off.
Maximum/minimum button
Short press to switch between maximum and minimum measurement; long press has no function. When the maximum and minimum measurement mode is selected, the meter always displays the maximum or minimum value.
HOLD data hold function
When measuring moisture, short press this button once, the data will be recorded and the HOLD symbol will be displayed; short press this button again to end data storage and continue normal measurement.
Wood measurement
Refer to the wood scale in the manual, press the "MODE" button to select wood scale 1-4 for detection according to different wood types.
Paper measurement
Detect paper packaging materials, with fast measurement response speed and high clarity and intuitiveness
Building material measurement
Detectable building materials include (brick walls, cement, concrete, cement mortar, lime mortar, plaster, etc.) Insert the probe to measure.
The background colors of green, yellow, and red indicate the moisture content of different measurement types.
Measurement steps:
- Turn on the switch.
- Press the MODE key to switch the tree species, check the tree species comparison table to select the tree species, if there is no corresponding tree species in the comparison table, you can select tree species 3 for approximate measurement.
- Remove the probe sensor protection cover and insert the device probe vertically into the wood sample to be tested until the probe depth reaches 6mm.
- Wait for the measured value to stabilize. During the measurement, the maximum and minimum value measurement and measurement hold function can be turned on or off according to the function key instructions.

Je l'utilise pour tester l'humidité du bois de chauffage, c'est hyper facile et cela permet de choisir quel tas de bois utiliser en premier. En une demi seconde l'afficheur passe au vert si l'humidité est bonne et affiche le taux exact dans tous les cas.

Como siempre con Amazon, llegó muy pronto y bien empaquetado. El medidor es sencillo, viene con dos pilas, y el funcionamiento es de lo más simple. De momento lo he probado en el techo del baño, mide el máximo y el mínimo de humedad y, al menos hasta el momento, funciona bien, sin problemas

What a useful tool. Great for checking your logs. And anything else with moisture content.Cheap as chips and the job very well. Simple to use straight out of the box
