It's working as expected. I use this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver to project my computer screen onto the TV for presentations or just to have a larger display. Literally, the best part is how easy it is to carry around. I’ve tried similar products before, and it hold up well. It’s more stable than using cables or built-in casting features. The real-time transmission works smoothly, and no lag the most times between my laptop and the TV. Setup is simple, and the whole thing is about the size of two small USB drives, making it easy to store. I keep them attached to my keychain so I can grab them whenever needed.

This is a fantastic product as it works great and is easy to use. On a very simple level this is just a wifi enabled connection that lets you mirror your computer screen on any device that has an HDMI input, such as a projector or TV. I'll use it for travel to stream my video content on TVs in hotel rooms, and with the projector I use in my backyard. Both the sound and the picture are fantastic with no noticeable delays related to the wireless connection. You simply plug the receiver into an HDMI port on the TV and the transmitter into the HDMI port on your laptop. It comes with a couple of USB cables to provide power for the transmitter and the receiver. On the laptop side I did not need the separate power cable, though I did need to use the USB-A port on my TV to add power for the receiver. Once they were both powered, they paired to each other pretty quickly, without me needing to do anything, and then my laptop recognized the connection as a new monitor. I could then choose to duplicate or extend my laptop screen onto my TV screen.I definitely recommend this product, it just works, easily and really well. There's no software to load and so long as the receiver and transmitter pair to each other automatically it is super easy. The only issue I've had to far was in one hotel room where the HDMI port on the TV wasn't accessible, which isn't the fault of the product.

Works great. Lost connectivity once for about 1/2 but that’s it. However i wish they sell just a transmitter or a pack of transmitter so I don’t have to move one around.

There are competing avenues for transmitting video and audio from one device to another, usually from a laptop to a larger screen, whether a TV or a monitor. The two main competing ports are USB-C and HDMI. USB-C has the advantage of being able to transfer not just video and audio, but also power. HDMI has the advantage of being the preferred port for high resolution video, but it does not generally transfer power. Usually, the HDMI connection is wired. Remarkably, this product is HDMI, but wireless. It is a fairly unique product (although there are others like it), since I have never actually seen anyone using it in real life.In the box: In the box, there are two attractive orange and grey rectangular transmitter and reciever, with the HDMI connector at their tips, two USB-C cables and two adapters (see pictures 1, 2 and 3).In operation: I inserted the transmitter into my laptop and the receiver into my Samsung smart monitor. Nothing happened. That's when I realized that both the transmitter and the receiver had to be powered (and hence, the two included USB-C cables), and there is a USB-C port on each to enable this. I plugged the transmitter into a power brick and did the same with the transmitter (see pictures 4, 5 and 6). They began glowing blue, and lo and behold, my laptop screen was transmitted to the monitor. Both picture and video were crisp - evidence of the 4K decoding and 1080P ultra-high-definition video picture and audio output advertised by the manufacturer - and the audio could be heard with clarity.Closing thoughts: The manufacturer describes this as a plug and play device. But it is a bit more complicated than that, because the transmitter and the receiver must both be plugged into a power source. This will be the case with any wireless HDMI setup, not just this brand. In the typical scenario, the user would potentially need four sources of power: 1) A source of power for the laptop (unless it has a powerful battery that can go the distance); 2) A source of power for the monitor or TV being projected to; 3) A source of power for the transmitter, and; 4) A source of power for the receiver. The fact that both the transmitter and the receiver require power sources does sort of negate the convenience of being able to use them wirelessly. The transmission works well, as long as one recognizes that multiple power sources will be required for the set up to work.

I was pleased to see how well these work. You need to be able to plug each into a USB port. But the color came through very well. If you are looking for wireless HD HDMI these are a great option.

I’m really impressed with how versatile this product is. Connecting any TV to any system is super easy, and the picture quality is great with barely any lag. It’s perfect for presentations and slideshows! It’s really simple to use—just plugged it into my TV and phone, and it connected right away. The picture quality is fantastic, and it’s also perfect for casting my laptop screen to a larger TV, especially when my laptop screen feels too small. I’ve even used it in my exercise room—no more trying to see a tiny phone screen while I’m working out. It’s totally plug-and-play because it gets its power from the laptop’s HDMI port. I did have to provide power on the monitor end, but that was just with an old power block I had. It doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi, gets 4K quality, and extends the desktop instead of just mirroring it. I’ve never been this happy with an electronics purchase. This wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver is also awesome for travel! It’s so easy to set up and project my laptop screen in a hotel room. It’s perfect for anyone who works remotely and travels, and the price is really reasonable too.
