I’ve had this tool 4 years now & love it. It’s very solid and won’t bend when you use it.

I was looking for a dandelion weeder. Couldn't be happier. The heavy duty stainless steel construction makes this an heirloom quality garden tool. I'm more likely to lose it than bend it or break it or lose it to rust.Effective against dandelions and other deep rooted weeds.

The angled tip has been reported to cut the roots of weeds. If one sticks the weed tool into the ground a couple of inches away from the weed-stem, one may not experience this issue. YMMV, but I’ve had no issues. Of course there are variables—how hard is the ground? How fragile are the roots to be extricated? Etc. But I’ve had good luck and have found the leverage it gives me to be quite helpful.

Super high quality, sturdy, and sharp!!!Highly recommended for weeding your Garden. With this tool, getting into tight spaces is no problem. Getting the whole dandelion root is easy. I love it and I am buying all their tools one by one. So high quality. Excellent for clay and hard soil. Performance is excellent. Clean up is a breeze (or a squirt from the garden hose). Thick heavy duty metal and maneuverable for tight spaces.

My opinion of this digger keeps going up. It is strong. The leading edge is reasonably sharp. In the pics here it looks like there are narrow openings in the leading edge but mine is totally together there, not open. So that's good.I use mine in lawn turf, and in the bark beds, and in the totally rough unfinished part of the yard. You can push it down past the flattened part and right up through the part that is round - just depends on the dirt down at that depth. If I run into a rock down there, I can wiggle it around to try getting past it. So far I have never bent this thing. It's also a good lever type tool for lifting the lid off of my septic tank. I can pry up one edge of the lid, lift it up, and flip it over, all in one motion with this tool. Then I can flip the lid back on with it when I'm done in there. The leading edge is just sharp enough to kind of dig into the plastic lid material a little, giving you like a grip on the lid, which helps when adjusting the position of it. Pretty handy. No sign of any rust on mine. Probably never will, being stainless. So it still looks nice.Oh yeah, the red handle makes it easy to find when you leave it lying around in the grass!

In a joint effort my husband and I lost our precious dandelion picker that we have had for decades. The quality is just not up to par as the ones they sold back in the day:(In searching for an equal to or better than replacement, I came across this Wilcox All-Pro 350S, 13" Weeder. My husband looked dubious when he saw it. He finally gave it a try, and guess what? I haven't heard a word about our missing blue handled dandelion picker since!-The Wilcox All-Pro 350S, 13" is as strong and sharp as they say. There was a slight learning curve when using this compared to my old picker. The old dandelion picker needed to be put in at an angle. With the Wilcox ,I need to put it in more perpendicular to the ground. When done correctly I find I'm getting more of the root out than I did with my old dandelion picker. If you are one of those that sometimes uses your pocket knife to get out dandelions ( i.e. my husband ) then using this will come naturally to you.-This tool is a joy to use. Instead of pulling his pocket knife out when he gets off work and spots a dandelion on his way into the house, my husband will go the extra few steps around his car, and grab the Wilcox All-Pro 350S, 13" tool off the garage shelf.

Just absolutely love this tool...makes weed removal a breeze...able to extract the entire root most of the time if you use it correctly...

Seems pretty strong! Cuts roots of dandelions quite well. Seems like it will last. I've only just got it though so maybe ask again after more significant use!

This is one well built Weeder! It was rewarding to see something built this well after breaking many of these over the years.

+indestructible? I believe it+beautiful chrome+feels great in the hand+slices down right through dirt-slices right through your root-I don't actually use this for dandelionThis is a great narrow trowel. Super sturdy, very pretty, feels great in the hand. Very sharp and cuts down through hard dirt. This is a great little digger. The problem is that it is terrible for my intended purpose, which is pulling out entire dandelion roots. Sure it digs great, but it slices through your root, which leaves most of it still down there. It slices in both the dig phase and the pry-up phase. Maybe it works better if you grind off the edge? What I actually use is " Fiskars Deluxe Stand-up Weeder (4-claw) 39 Inch, 339950-1001 " which will pull up whole dandelions from the ground while you are still standing upright. It isn't perfect, and when it does break off roots this wilcox weeder thing is good for digging down giant hole to get that last bit of root. Sometimes I wonder if I would be better off to just let those ones alone....
