TLDR:Not actually tangle free, but still so much more convenient than 2 leashes. 100% worth the money if you have small dogs. Mine lasted 3 years of beagle abuse, and I'm buying another today.I've had mine for just under 3 years, used for my beagles (15-20 lbs). It's definitely not tangle free. It's actually a pretty active process of twisting the handle to keep the tangles out. Despite that, it makes my life so much easier from having to take two separate leashes. I'm able to hold one handle and control both lines all while still giving my dogs plenty of room to sniff. In terms of durability, it finally broke (50%) yesterday. The rubber coating on the handle started to wear down and fall off over time, but that's not a big deal for me. After 3 years of my menace dog sprinting full force and the line catching at the end of its length, it finally broke the locking mechanism, but only on her side. It did not snap, it's just the locking mechanism. It still works as a retractable leash, I just can't lock her in place anymore. The other side still works perfectly.I would say 3 years of abuse for $35 is a pretty great deal. Definitely recommend if you have two smaller dogs.

Funziona perfettamente ottimo se avete 2 cani di piccola media taglia

The walks are more easier, they’re both in control with one hand. Specially because, I need my other hand to hold my daughter, also I’m very happy with the quality to. My dogs weights are 17 pounds and my little one is 10 pounds. Im not sure how good it could work with 2 big dogs, but for my 2 Shih-Tzus works perfectly fine.

Was reeds gekend.

Edit: This leash lasted 22 days, and then one of the cables broke and retracted inside. The plastic on the handle had worn through to the second layer and the spinner that rotates so that the cords don't get tangled was still working, but didn't rotate as easily causing the cords to tangle sometimes. My dogs are still fairly small (28 Pounds) so the leash should have held up better than that. I would not recommend this product for any but very small dogs. This product didn't even make it for a month.Original review:I have two Golden Retriever puppies that have been a nightmare to walk. They are always playing, running around each other and getting their leashes tangled. When trying to clean up their poops, I had to step on their leashes to get my hands free, and more than once they dragged their leash into the mess. Two retractable leashes would not work because it was a lot to hold in one hand while using the other to clean up the messes. I had to resort to taking them out one at a time to make it manageable. Then, I got this leash. I have had it for only a couple of days, so I can't speak to its durability, but walking the puppies is an order of magnitude easier.Because of the rotation piece, they rarely get tangled, and I can easily hold the leash up off the ground to avoid the dog mess while cleaning up after them. Because the leash is retractable and always has a little bit of tension the leash rarely gets wrapped up in the puppies legs, which was a big problem before. If the puppies get a little too rambunctious, I can easily use the leash lock to keep them separate and it is easy to know which one I am locking because the end of the lead is color coded to the lock buttons. As far as the effort to walk my dogs goes, it is a new and better day. Thanks to whomever though of this. It is rare that a purchase actually makes your life better, but this one did.My only complaint is that the handle is a little small for bigger hands. I wear a large glove size and it is a little too small for me. If you have bigger hands, it may be a problem.

We have two small dogs. We have tried two other similar twin leads previously. Neither of them we're as good quality as this one. Both the previous ones were unreliable in use and the clutch mechanism on them was weak and allowed the leads to slip, which is a worry, especially when walking next to a busy road! This one has separate brake mechanisms, which have so far proved to be strong. I am much more confident that it will not let me down as the previous two did! As an owner of two dogs, I would recommend this double dog lead.Update. Have been using this lead for many months now and it is still working well. Very happy.

I keep telling myself I need to take a picture of me using it, but I am too focused on walking the dogs than trying to take pictures. But this is going to be long because I have a lot to say and your mileage may very! This is an excellent leash when you have two dogs on it, but as soon as I pick one dog up or take them off the lead, I'm almost left wishing I had brought an additional single leash retractor rather than using this with one dog.I am new to having two dogs and holding two leashes looked like too much work and moving hands. Using a single leash with a bungee connector didn't work as my 13lb dog completely overruled my 2.5 dog. But this allows me to hold one retractable leash but control each dog individually. It took only a few walks to memorize which button was for which dog, even when I switch hands. There have been reviews of the lines getting crossed and this does happen. But this is not a "walk two dogs and look at your phone" leash. If I am present and walking my dogs, I work with them to keep it untangled, mostly just putting the leash in the correct direction to allow it to spin. I think, for the price, the quality is excellent, but would I pay more for better quality? However, I think this takes less brain power than two separate leashes, and if they do get tangled, the hardest part is figuring out in which direction, after that, just spin the leash till they are un-twisted.I do get twisted up by the dogs, especially because the smallest likes to run circles with me, but my modifications below with the carabiners help to detangle.I have two dogs, a 13lb MaltiPoo and a 2.5lb Puppy Teacup Poodle. When we first got the leash, the Teacup wasn't strong enough to gain length, and the MaltiPoo (who I had always used looooong leashes) felt it was too short.Firstly, while we felt it was too short, I wouldn't want it to be any longer because the two dogs can get quite far from one another and I don't think I could manage much more distance, so we got used to it.My Teacup has been a struggle in all ways as he is just too small for... well, everything. We found a cat harness that came with a 4' elastic leash, so I took a carabiner and attached the elastic leash to the end of the black cord using the first "loop" of tape and the elastic leash's hand loop. I loved this modification so much that I made the change permanent and actually cut off the tape portion of his side. The addition of the elastic leash and a poo bag holder made it so he could finally pull against the spring. 1 poo from my bigger dog is helpful, a 2nd poo and the spring has trouble retracting, so I think a 4-6 lb dog will have no issues. As for us, my littlest appreciates the extra assistance with the spring. After a few weeks of testing, I copied this set up of carabiner and elastic leash to the other side as my Maltipoo was getting jealous the puppy had more length!. An added benefit of this change was that now I can detach the leash should a dog go around the wrong side of a pole, which was super frustrating because both my dogs are mule headed and don't want to admit they went the wrong way =oPConclusion:I liked it as sold. I love it with my modifications. If they take my advise to add a little bit of bungie and a quick release, I would pay another $10-$15 for this leash. If they upgraded the spinner between the handle and the leash (maybe a metal track with stricter tolerances) I would pay another $20-$30 for this leash (and then make my bungie and carabiner adjustments). And while not needed, some tactile feedback between the two leash control buttons rather than just colour designation, would be a nice addition.Thank you! Love this leash and wouldn't replace it with anything else but an upgraded version.
