I used these to tape a cord along baseboard and across brick. Good, surprising adhesion in both cases. I have a drawer full of tapes, and these are favorites. You can tear them, but I like to cut it to get it precisely to length. If you hate jumbled, messy cords, these are for you.

This is just some attempt at gaff tape that doesn’t quite get there. If you want real gaff tape this won’t do.

It doesn’t stick to anything. People are complaining that it leaves residue but I wish i had that problem. I’m just using it on microphones and mic cables to identify what cable is connected where quickly and it just peels off a day after you stick it on. I even used it to keep a mic cable in place over a tolex guitar amp combo and half of it had peeled the next day. It even has trouble sticking to itself.It is easy to tear and maybe I need to get deeper into the roll before the adhesive gets better but if this were mission critical work I’d be returning this. It mostly stays in place for what I need it for but I have to keep going back and sticking it back whenever it starts peeling. I guess I at least don’t have any residue to deal with

Cons: Tape is very thin and lightweight. The adhesive is not very strong. Does not glow under UV lights. Limited usefullness for marking up or holding things together. The silver color is too dark to legibly mark with a black Sharpie.Pros: InexpensiveConclusion: This tape, while very inexpensive, is not something that I would buy again or use for anything important.

These come heat sealed, so when you open the package you can get what you need without having to keep it with you . Colors are matte and subdued, so you do not have to worry about tape reflection when filming. The wide variety of colors means that you do have to use specialty tape when marking the floor for a static shot 9r defining the areas that the boom mic, boom operator and talent must work in, This the type of tape that I use all the time. I lov3 the very reasonable price d the extremely quick shipping times.

I have used this on my classroom floors, and in my car. It sticks well and is easy to remove with no residue. The colors are bright and my students can find the color easily. I would get this again. Reminder that this type of tape is not a gummy tape used to hold objects together, that is not the intent.
