I am a photographer and purchased this tape for the first time. I was very disappoint. I used it to tape a paper backdrop to a mirror and the tape adhered to the mirror but fail to say stuck to the paper. We tried to days in a row but each day it would drop down. Very disappointing!

I taped the sides of a cardboard box and later found the tape flapping. Must have got a very bad batch. I ordered a second batch as a back up and did not open them. I guess I can use them to strap and then tie yard waste. Will have to tie because they do not stick.

This tape works very well for holding cords down on the floor so they will not be tripped over. It is sticky enough to hold the cords down firmly but easy enough to remove when you are finished. The tape is easy to tear and rips clean and straight. The listing says that it is compatible with plastic, cement, metal, glass, wood and leather. I would agree about most of those but I would be very careful using it on leather. I used it on some of that "faux" wood that is particle board with a thin woodgrain printed paper layer laminated to it. When I removed it, it pulled some of the woodgrain paper off with the tape. That was not great but where it was was not that big of a deal. If I had used it on something made of leather and it pulled part of the finish from the leather I would not be happy. Otherwise, it works pretty good and does not leave a residue when you remove it. I find myself using it for quite a few other projects where I want something that holds well but is temporary. This is a good thing to have around the house when you need it, and you might be surprised how often you need it when you have it available.To help understand how I rate items:Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would most likely purchase it again if needed .Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.
