No better than a cheap roll of masking tape. The adhesive is very poor and if it's used in a room with radiators that heats the room every day, it just constantly peels away from the wall/ceiling every day or two.

I bought the tape to cover up the dark blemishes along the edges of my mirror. The tape was quite easy to apply and if I didn’t set it exactly like I wanted, I could pull it off and reapply it and there wouldn’t be the residue left like some other tapes. The finished result was a clean well-defined border. I recommend it.

It's Gaffers Tape, it does exactly what it's supposed to. It has a good hold but doesn't seem to leave any adhesive or residue behind when you remove it. I went with white because I also used it to create my own V-Flats and sed the tape as a hinge on the white side.

I bought this to help temporarily patch some post-leak drywall holes in my white ceiling. When I tried to peel it off my ceiling to reposition it, it took a bunch of paint off. So, it sticks to the wall/ceiling just fine, but I had to glue the tape to itself in the parts it overlaps to get it to stay put. Layered strips kept falling off after a day or two.

The product is good quality and very reasonable price, easy to cut (or tear and apply smoothly). Both the 1" inch and 2 inches wide tapes adhere well.The gaffers tapes arrived very quickly and in excellent condition.Our FTC team uses the gaffers tape for a wide range of robotics projects in robotics/FTC and in many other stage set up/assembly, assembling our FTC robotics field, putting up signs at school and in the community. The gaffers peels off easily and has seldom left any residue. It also tears evenly so you don't HAVE to use scissors, etc. can get more done quickly. Oh. also, often you can peel the tape off the wall or floor and no residue is left after take-down.

I used this to seal the gaps around an air conditioning unit, sticking to a painted wall on one side, glass on the other. Upon removing it, just one week later, it left sticky residue as well as large chunks of tape on the glass. The wall side fared a bit better - it came free, but with it came a tiny amount of paint.The rest of this roll is going in the trash. It's absolute garbage. I don't understand how it got so many positive reviews - did the manufacturer change their formulation recently? As it exists now, this tape is unsuitable for any purpose.I have used REAL Gaffer's Tape in the past, in the same location, for the same purpose - Pro Gaff USA Brand, purchased from a camera store. That other brand came off easily from both glass and painted surface, in one piece, with zero residue. I only bought this XFasten product because my old roll was running out, and I thought this stuff was "Professional Grade Gaffer Tape", too. But it's not.

I bought this tape as a replacement for duct tape. In some applications it worked well and in others it was spotty. I used it outdoors to hold up outside lights. On some windows, the tape didn't stick in a few places. In most places, it held fine. Around the garage door, it held so well, it took the paint off. Duct tape does that too, so no deduction there. I used it to close a few boxes that I'm storing indoors. In a few cases, it didn't grip. In the majority of situations, it holds fine, but in a few, it won't. Even when conditions are identical. Odd.

I got this tape for the sole purpose of taping up my breasts (natural 38DD) for an upcoming photo shoot. Last night I did a test run and this tape not only held up my breasts for a few hours, it did so well that I could jump around and they stayed in place. This is a really big deal to us larger chested gals. The best part, however, came when I peeled the tape off: it DID NOT HURT!!! No residue either!Once I started messing with this tape, I realized that it is SO much better than duct tape. It tears cleanly and you don't have to use teeth. The adhesive is strong, but if the tape touches itself it isn't a lost cause like with duct tape. It also feels nicer, it doesn't have that faux stretchy rubbery texture. If you need to peel and restick, it works great depending on what you're using it on. On skin, it doesn't work so well, but on the actual surfaces it's meant for (like wood floor or plastic) it keeps its tackiness.This stuff is awesome and at a great price. It makes me want to try those ridiculous duct-tape diy projects, like a wallet and whatnot but using THIS stuff instead!

I love gaffer tape and usually have a few rolls on hand, typically black for the pro music business. I was doing a repair and needed some white gaffer tape, so I ordered this one. It arrived in less than 24 hours and is very high quality!The tape is so tough that I was not able to tear it by hand. Not a big deal, but usually I can tear cloth gaffer tape by hand. I had to use a pair of scissors to get it started.Overall, I am very happy with the product and the customer service rep for the company checked in with me to see how I liked it. That's not something I've seen on a product like this and thought it was a nice touch.
